The bad press this company has is renowned in both the trade and Liverpool, but I went only to get some idea of the type of car I wanted. I know they sell a lot of cars but that must be by bullying; being a professional buyer I didn't get much further than the welcome mat. Too in my face, I told them I would shout if I needed something and the young kid said he needed my name for fire precautions. Three times! I’ve rarely met such high pressure tactics in my 20 professional years, so I walked out. The only people looking at cars that day seemed to be pensioners, which made me feel bad, as they are more susceptible to such sales pressure. I have a lot of friends who have gone far enough in the sales process to receive their intimidation tactics. The only place in Liverpool for this type of company would be as a training ground for new buyers. Shame on anyone who works there; you certainly have more choice of employment these days so you must be attracted to this kind of bullying amateur sales operation. That makes you uneducated cowards. |
