Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, found it after doing a bit of digging about on Welcome.

Has anyone had success with Welcome? I am trying to claim missold PPi and charges, but i must say Welcome are sticking firm and hard to not paying me out. Latest letter all but says we're waiting for you to take us to court.

Just looking for someone more knowledgeable who can help me a little more, i can provide you with details of my letters and their responses etc.

Also, upon the advice of this site i am going to call into my local CAB, should i call up and ask if there is someone who specialises in these problems who can help me?

Hi Wipeout, welcome to our forum.

Regarding the charges there are plenty of people reclaiming these. Have a look at our link here: -

Regarding the PPI it is a different story. I have heard of Welcome cancelling the PPI but only to keep the instalments the same. So you end up paying the same but loose the PPI. hmm

The Welcome contract is well know as a "swiss cheese" agreement. That is there is enough holes in it to make it unenforceable. If you scan your contract to us at Agreement-check@saynotoyes.co.uk we will get our experts to have a look at it for its validity.

Until we see the contract we will be able to then advise. In the meantime do go to the CAB and please let us know what they say. We do know they have specialists for YCC but not sure about Welcome.
