Hi Guy's, Just to let you know that i received a letter from Red Castle over 6 months ago asking for the outstanding gap insurance of £402.00 and i stated that i was not happy to pay this until i have proof in writing for the gap insurance and from this day i have not received this i have received about 7 letters from Red castle threatening to take me to court and have many phone calls from them and every time they had called i told them once again i am still waiting for proof for the documentation for gap insurance .I have now told them to take me to court and let the court decide as they keep threatening me with letters to take me to court they then turned it around and said that they would not as its only a small amount and if we were to pay half of the amount of £202 they would than stop writing to me.I ask if they could put this in writing which they did than in a weeks time i received a letter from red castle to say that they have not received the payment I than phoned them up to say I was not going to pay this as I have still not received the documentation from them for the Gap Insurance and I was so fed up with the phone calls threatening letters of court and debt collector I than decided to speak to my solicitor and she had said not to pay this money or speak to them over the phone as if they can not prove this than I was not to pay them and if i they carry on sending letters and phone call I can involve to police as this is harassment.I did not hear from them but two weeks later I received a letter from a different company called K.M Investigations and it states on there letter if they do not hear from me by 12/2/07 by 11.00am in may result in the issue of legal proceedings. Has anyone had a letter from red Castle than from K.M Investigations. Kind Regards Carolian  |

Carolian, According to one of our users thes KMI guys are ever so nice people. Must be stupid though buying YCc debt. Do us a favour, can you phone or write to them and tell them to visit this site. Perhaps then they will believe its not such a good idea getting involved with YCC in any way or form. |

I have just had a phone call at my office from red castle, saying that they have been unable to get intouch with me for months, regarding yes car credit debt, i stated that i had moved address in november 06, and i have received correspondance from Direct auto finance at my current address stating that i am now at a default stage, i find it strange that red castle mention yes car credit, considering all my dealings have been with direct auto finance, i feel quite concerned, however i have already visited citizens advice and been adviced on what to do, however i'm interested to hear if anybody has had dealings with red castle at all, and maybe comment on their "excellent collection methods" |

Well if their collection methods are the same as their communications with YCC/DAF then I think they might end up banging on the wrong door.
 |
