Hi there and thanks for the forum!

I am half way through the agreement with Daf and would like to know how I can return the car back to them and get the finance cancelled.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have paid 50% you can write to DAF and tell them you wish to VT. They will arrange collection of the car, but do have a read on here about a collection fee (I have no personal experiience, just read a few posts on here).

Also, be aware you may still have to pay the insurances.

I'm sure someone else will have mroe information than me, just thought I'd give my tuppence worth!

ok VTing at half way is not a problem.

If you have arrears then you will have to pay off this amount first.

If not all you will be left with is paying for the remaining amount of insurances outstanding. However because you are VTing the car early you will get a rebate on this amount. Then you can either pay in a lump sum or if you don not have any arrears you can keep paying by monthly instalments.

With regards the collection fee there should be a way around it if you let us know if DAF try to charge you one then we will do our best to get you out of having to pay it.
