well after 12 months with moor advice and stuck in limbo with regards the £1435 I 'owe' for insurances (those that dont know I VT'd my vehicle in November 2005) they have passed the debt onto a collection company.

I phoned them this am 'so are how would you like to pay this today Sir? I aint paying it love!! and told them it was in dispute as I was claiming misselling of PPI/Warranty and it was being dealt with by Moor Advice and Golds solicitors

They have told me they will go back to DAF and then be in touch

anyone else in this situation as it looks now like they may be making a move to get this money before any of these group actions or test cases get their outcome.

oh the company is called - Direct Legal and Collections based in Brackley, Northamptonshire

tbh I aint paying a penny and if needs be will goto court and have my say... **** em (thats french for sod em  )

I have called moor today, awaiting a call back

Moor did advise a while back that if I could pay it then I should and then leave the PPI to them.

I am going to ask them how long and what odds as I cba waiting another 12 months to have my credit file tainted even more + the ongoing threat of no resolution and me getting hammered by DAF/Courts

as you know I dont qualify for legal aid so stephensons was totally out of the question and they also cant guarantee success

its pi$$ing me off now... anyone with any sense can see just how they ripped everyone off, how they blatantly disregard FSA/OFT regs and show total lack of cunstomer care

so why the hell cant a solicitor/judge/politician/Regulatory body is beyond me!!!

right, apparently DAF have sold all the debts on (again) so there is gonna be more delay as apportioning blame for mis-selling lies with DAF but DAF no longer own the debt... suck it and see yet again

the saga continues

hold on - you are saying all od DAFs debts have been sold on? how did you find out and who has now got them? is this also the ones that stephensons are arguing against? so we are all likely to have demand letters drop through our doors then again

Hi Steve

Have moor gave any indication on how they are progressing with these cases, I've never heard anything from them for around a year now, well not since Helen left anyway.
