subject direct auto finance y c c Message i have been getting problems threat letters huge out standing amouts phone calls five times a day letter charges obtaing a with held number house which they claim that i gave and i did not and addersses details which they got because they still work on old addersses because we moved with there hassle some body sat outside my new adderesses and wach me for weeks they also got the info through dvla and i have spent hundreds on repairs and insurance claims through rac/aa.which too see the entire company too beclosed through the amount of acts which have been broken. i do have a legal advisor on the case but they refuse too talk too him hans down and keep on my family all the time.the contract is ilegal as well there no start date or finish date just 48 months.action needs to be taken. |

Subject Miss-sold PPI, and miss used settlement payment Message I was told that I would not get credit if I did not pay for "payment protection warranty and insurance" as It was called, despite being a serving Naval Officer on a 12 year comission, a situation where I would never be able to claim as I will always be paid in the event that I cannot work due to illness and injury. I also applyed for a settlement figure in August 2005 and after a month of stalling, I got fed up with them and cancelled my direct debits and sent them a cheque, a week later they called and said I had paid too much and was to receive a refund, which took 1 month to arrive. Upon reciept of the refund I called them and was told my account would be closed. In April 2006 I received a letter demanding more money, so I called them, explained the situation, they checked it out and told me that the account would now be shut. In October of 2006 after returning from a 4 month deployment I was met with a letter demanding a further £5000, this was confirmed when I checked www.checkmyfile.com. After speaking to Yes I was able to deduce that they had held the money that I paid in settlement and used it to pay my monthly instalment until it was used up. They had apparently sent me letters explaining a mistake on their behalf which meant I had infact paid too little and not too much but as I belived my account closed did not expect any further correspondance with them and therefor did not inform them of my new address, (I had moved with my job in October 05). In addition to this a direct debit was set up in September of 2006 by Yes, to start taking this £5000 from my account, this direct debit was not authorised by me, in fact I was in a submarine and therefore unable to be contacted for the whole of September. After discovering the direct debit had been set up I contacted my bank and was informed that if that direct debit was set up without my permission I was entitled to any sums taken to be refunded to me under the Direct Debit Guarantee, with that in mind I decided that in order to protect my credit ! rating I would continue to pay while the matter was being settled. I have e-mailed letters of complaint twice but have received no reply so I wrote a formal letter last week demanding a solution and a refund of my PPI, Yes claim they have not received this so I am sending a second copy by recorded delivery tomorrow. |

Subject Direct Auto Finance (Yes Car Credit.) Message Every month I find myself recieving letters and reminders from D.A.F, despite my payments being up to date. The frustrating thing about this is that every letter they send me, I am charged £15 for the privelage. On one occasion they sent me 3 letters in one day, which in effect added £45 to my account. But it didn't stop there, they continued by sending me a letter a day for the next 8 days, charging me £15 a time. IN JUST OVER A WEEK I FOUND MYSELF WITH £150 being added to my account. After numerous phone calls to D.A.F, they agreed to remove the charges from my account. But since then I still find myself facing a letter each month, along with the £15 charge they incur. Leaving me having to phone D.A.F to get the charges removed. Every time this happens it is at cost and inconvience to myself ! |

subject direct auto finance agents Message I have had no problems with them into I moved and bought a new house. The direct debit was not collected and first I new about the problem was a letter and then 2 days later a knock at the door and a extra £300+ bill from crystal collections who were using a cardiff based collections agent. This has put me into a hole. And don't remember anything on their terms and conditions about this. I thought in order for charges like this to be applied this would have to go to a court. and because I had to borrow to pay the extra charges has caused me problems with the bank I had the money the whole time for what they were owed. But because of this and the bank charges. I have got a month into arrears with them . Also a few days before they did call I did get one letter and faxed them card details to process which they never took even though had a ackowledgement call confirming they would process it. I personally think these charges I should be able to reclaim. But working in the collections industry were able to get the direct numbers for the head of crystal collections. to get things sorted. except their charges back |

When we gave it back after 6 months (2nd car, 2nd loan agreement) we were left with a £5000 debt still to pay after giving the car back and Yes car had sold it on and taken that money off the finance. (only a Rover 25 not a porsche) |

Subject gap insurance Message is it worth the paper its written on my partner unfortunatly has a car with yes car credit and in september we plan to give it back.. are we going to have to pay extortionate amounts of money for an insurance policy we were told would be beneficial. Its too much for wghat it is and we cannot cancel it as yes sold it as a seperate loan are provident the cowboys that own yes allowed to get away with this. We brought a car that was not worth the 11 thousand pounds we are paying back.. The car was only 5.5 thousand how is this right we needed a car desperatly at the time and had no choice but to go with yes or so we thought what a mistake that was. |

Subject yes car credit Message we were sold a car by yes car credit and have many complaints, the main one being that we were forced to take out the expensive insurances or we could not have the car, and these have proven worthless to us. we have also been charged hundreds of pounds in penalty charges for a few late payments and been threatened and abused by staff at ycc and crystal collections, their collection company. despite the fact that what they do is immoral, they seem to have gotten away with causing misery to thousands of people and we wish to see them answerable to their disgusting practices. |
