I have just reveiwed my credit rating and thanks to Direct Auto Finance i now have a Poor credit rating. Some months ago i read that a number of ex customers of Yes were contemplating taking court action against Yes to prevent them from filing default claims on individual peopels credit reports. Have you heard anything about this? I am now serously thinking of instigating legal proceedings to have them forced to remove the slur against my name. They expect me to pay for payment protection insurance for a vehicle that i sent back, after having paid for over Three years without default! Your thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers Phil |

Phil,This is quite common for Godebt to keep your name on a credit reference black list after sorting your account out with them. One of our users was made bankrupt by them, then a few months later settled his account. Around about a year after that he discovered his name was still blacklisted. Godebts MD claimed to this user that they were a professional company. Our user is having trouble believing that. Regarding the payment protection what YCC did not tell you when you purchased the insurances was that you were buying 4 years upfront of the stuff and stuffed you have been like the rest of us. The fact that you were conned into this falls on deaf ears when explaining to Godebt. Godebt know all about YCC practices and were in an ideal position to correct this injustice. Unfortunately for us users we are finding out that Godebt have assets to maintain abroad so are not interested in helping us out. I will be very interested to see what legal process you can go down to remove your name from the credit reference. Please keep us in touch on this one. |
