Hi i would like to give you our story about car craft. my name is rachael and my partner is called david. we have a zafira that we purchased-on finance - from car shop northampton. everything was fine but we decided to get a cheaper car as to reduce payments each month. we went back to carshop and couldn't find anything. david had heard of car craft in birmingham and decided one sunday to take our 21 month old daughter out for the day , car shopping with daddy. they got there at 12pm ish . david had picked a mondeo. good mileage, cheapish and he liked it. he was there for 8 hours !!. he drove away with the mondeo and left the zafira. he was happy until .... 2 weeks later they still haven't sorted out any finance for the car. the finance company that he had the zafira with had said that they would be happy to finance the car but because the car he was buying was cheaper then the zafira he had left then car craft would have to pay the difference. car craft wouldn't do this. the finance company have had our paper work ready to be signed on their desk for 2 weeks now. Every single day my partner had been phoning them . NOT ONCE have they phoned him back when saying the would. he has put tax on the mondeo and traveled around 120 miles there and back. when he left the first time the senior finance manager signed a piece of paper stating that when david returned to sign the paper work that he would have a finance in place of which it would be at the rate of 18%. they couldn't get that for us. still haven't got any finance in place. we have been told to pay them 1. £88/ £ 555 / £650. they have also said that another company running along side the original finance company will give him a good deal . when my partner phoned them direct they hadnt even heard of us. We now want our car back . the zafira. we have asked them to bring our car back to us. pick up the mondeo and bring us a check to cover the tax and phone calls that we have made. the s.f.m was supposed to phone us 3 days ago but hasnt. david phoned them today and they wont transfer him to anyone. we need to get our car back and go and change it for a different one at the car shop today as our settlement figure will change after today . I think they know this and are just causing us more grief. I am looking now to take legal action against this company as they have behaved in a complete unprofessional way right from the day we first started dealing with them . they are a scam and i advised that anyone thinking of getting a car from them to not even go there. he has managed to speak to someone and is there at the moment picking up our car. i have spoke to him and he tells me that there is lots of things missing in the car (polishes/jack etc) the senior finance manager has signed the check. when he got there he was told he was in a meeting. his mane is ian jones btw. around 20 mins later david was then told that ian had left and was in wales. what crap !!!! he made a runner when he saw david turn up !! not sure what they are doing about the missing things but we are getting our car back thank god and a check for £330 as he had to drive back to birmingham to collect car !! never ever have i heard of such a con artist company like this one. they dont know there head from there arse and they havent even got the decency to face my partner with an explanation they just run out the building. car craft=bloody joke BE WARNED !!!!!!!!! |
