In which form did you make payment???, if you can then cancel immediately!!!!
Otherwise you may have just lost that money.
Hve had an eventfull day today with these people at daf, v ineresting reading!!! i will update my case shortly!!
But something i might be able to shed light on for you:i have spoken to someone today from steve plowmans office who was giving me different figures from earlier phone call from DAF, she said these where diff as they have recalled my file from a company called I.M.M.F an outside company they use to collect money for them but when they phone you they state they are DAF,she doesnt even know what the initials stand for, anyway this may be why one doesnt know what the other is saying and why you are still getting quoted 2 figures. MORE ON THIS LATER WATCH OUT IT IS HILARIOUS!!

i'm not dealing with DAF directly IIRC, I am dealing with their collections company which is whom also dealt with picking my car up. These lot are based somewhere completely different to horsham.

Eitherway, it was paid via debit card, and if they have screwed me about I will contact my bank and inform them.

I'll also contact the police as this is money by deception (sp).

Try phoning DAF direct using original agreement number and see what they have on there file regards final payment they may just say that the collection company are dealing with it, don't accept this it is rubbish they should be fully aware of what the collection company are doing and have agreed, i would have thought. If i am wrong here then could it be that you have had a phone call from both DAF and collection company with both expecting payment today. i know it sounds a bit odd but do remember we are dealing with a company who continually show that they cannot communicate properly so dont rule anything out until you exhaust all avenues after all it will be worth the call fee to find out what is going on.
I can if u wish give you the name and number i received today which will get you speaking to someone in Steve plowman's office.

What did you say, printer broken, what a likely story. Shouldn't be surprised at all.
May be we should start a list of excuses given by DAF/YCC
