I am being hounded by GO DEBT to pay £7,000 for a car I handed back over 2 years ago. I have categorically stated that I can't afford any amount to pay them back and that I'd go to court if I had to to prove it. They are now setting their solicitors on me. Surely they can't take what I haven't got? What do I do? they're talking about Bankruptcy. |

in theory no they cant take what you haven't got. however if you have your own property being made bankrupt will be very bad news for you. so can I ask about your agreement with YCC. How long did you actually have the car for? what are GoDebt claiming the £7000 is for? Why did you hand the car back and had you reached the 2 year mark when you did? If you can give us some more details on your agreement etc we can advise you the best course of action to take. |
