hello Lee,

Wondered were you had gone to.

Jenni knows a bit more than me but what I do know is that Stephensons tried to get some cases over to Birmingham but Gold/Irwin Mitchel objected for some unknown reason.

Regarding the class action we are looking at the end of the year for some action.

I'm afraid its a waiting game.

Hi there

I got a letter from Stephensons today. It says they will take on my case. Estimated Costs plus vat adn disbursments is £7,500.

I haven't heard anything in a while either Lee. I know mine probably won't be heard this year as Legal Aid are messing me about (unfortunately its down to a big change in circumstances after they made their initial decision).

The last I heard was that they were trying to get it moved to Birmingham one cos it was a more central location and two because there was a judge there who was very keen to hear the case. That was the last I hear unfortunately and do not know anything about Golds refusing this (although Stephensons did say this was very likely).

Will email Mark on Monday and get some confirmation

Shane,

This is what Stephensons have to inform you. This is what it will cost you if you end up going to court and get whipped. We dont think that is going to happen. nodside

All of our users get this letter and there are over 100 with them for this class action.

Frightening getting that letter but what do you think the outcome will be knowing what you have read on here.

Hi all

I have had two letters in two days from them and I am about to send back to them my statement of true, the barrister has adviced that the cases should be moved to a court in Birmingham where a judge has indicated that he will take up a group action and also becasue it is a more central location for all concern.

I spoke to stephenson's on Wednesday and asked how long this will take, I also wrote to them and they estimate that it may take about 3 to 4 months to hopefully get a ruling from the new judge, so I will suggest that if you have not heard from them and are worried you give them a call. I hope we don't start panicking and give up now as it seems we are almost there and we do not want those ????? Daf/ycc lots to think we are afraid of them, look at what Mr Mole is achiving now, let us all stick together and together we will beat the B..............s.

Stay blessed

Thats the spirit guys and thanks for all your patience.

YCC/DAF/Gold/Irwin whatever name they use this day are not doing themselves any favours with the law courts as to how they go about their business. This will not go unnoticed within the law courts.

Our day is coming.

Morning all,

the past two times i have been to court , the solicitor was different each time, first was one from near where i am and the second was from Preston , both had only been given the case the day before by Golds/Mitchell, and they had not got a clue as to what was going on , i did see on the solicitors papers that he was getting an agreed fee of £60.00 pounds for being at court

£60 seems a bit cheap?! maybe he was the tea boy and had just been roped in

shows they obviously aren't taking these cases seriously if they are using such inexperienced people to represent them
