Hi all

just thought i would post about the above named, they are still using On Line Finance headed paper but they are actually GMAC now worse luck as i have a mortage with Gmac as well. Anyway it all started back in 2003 we bought a car value was £4995, put £1000 deposit down and borrow the rest on finance, the propblem started last year i lost my job and then we had an accident in the car which resuled in hubby being quite badly injured and had to take lesser duties in work, thus resulting in less money.

Online did not want to know, they just wanted payment, anyway around Nov 06 they took us to court for the return of goods, and after 5 court appearences regarding the matter we finally agreed to pay £2000 and then the remaining balance of £60 a month we owe them £3565, well the £2000 was coming from my mum remortgage, but this fell through, then we tried to get a loan to pay them off, as they are a nightmarre to deal with, well Norrie Waite and Slater are their solicitors.

We could not get a loan it all fell through, so we had to decided what to do next with mrotgage arrears as well, we decided to sell our home, so Norrie waite agreed that as long as our solicitor took an undertaking that we would pay up when the house would sell, they would back off, trouble is we have realises after speaking to a financial advisor that we should not sell, and also going to court with the house the jdge was great, and he even advised not to sell, so were not, but i don;t know where we stand now with regards with online, i am disputing charges which are applied to the total amount owed, they have placed £2020 of charges on the account, which makes the £3565 total amount, and after sending loads of letters to them, they are now demanding all the money asap, even though norrie waite have agreed something else, basically they don't know what the other one i doing, can someone help me here as i am so worried hubby needs the car for work, if we have no car we have not wage coming in, i am hoping to get a job within the next 3 months but until then what else can we do, i have to wait another 10 weeks before i can get out of selling my house as we are tied into a contract with estate agent until then, anyone had a simular case to ours, as we are so worried, Norrie waite and slater and OnLine are ruthless they don;t give a dame about your circumstances and we have been through so much we can't take much more :( :(
