Another chocolate cookie- this is fun and different. It shows up chocolate and white from the confectioner's sugar- so it adds some varity to your xmas cookie plate: Chocolate Crinkle Cookies 2 cups sugar 3/4 cup vegetable oil 3/4 cup HERSHEY's cocoa 4 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoons salt Confectioner's sugar In large mixer bowl cmbine sugar and oil Add cocoa blend well Beat in eggs (one at a time) and vanilla In a separate bowl- combine flour, baking powder & salt add to cocoa mixture; blending well Cover; Chill at least 6 hours Preheat oven to 350 degrees Shape dough into 1 inch balls Roll in confectioners sugar. Place 2 inches aprt on GREASED cookie sheet Bake 12-14 minutes until almost no indentation remains when touched Remove from cookie sheet; cool on wire rack Makes about 4 dozen cookies. Tip- if finger get stickey when rolling uncooked dough- dust fingers in confectioner's sugar. |
