Member #27 Joined: October 25, 2006	[size=7]MEDICAL STORIES[/size] Larry seems to be someone who will have a hand in naming the next COS, maybe a member of the hospital board. He seems to want Richard to treat him but like Bailey does with rounds, he brings all for attendings with him. He also is giving Richard sh!t about stepping down saying he isn't "hungry" anymore and hates that he has become the type of doctor he is. As for his condition, it seems his balls are swollen. No. Seriously. Like grapefruits. Another take on Larry... -Larry Hamilton is in his 50’s and is the guy who made Richard Chief of Surgery back in the day. He comes in with some “man” problems. All four attending’s come into his room to check him out. He is in a lot of pain and drops his pants to show them the “man” problem. So apparently he is on the board and tells the attendings whoever can fix his “man” problem gets his vote. Then later in the scene Larry is questioning the chief on why he is stepping down, asking him how a man at his age 43/44 can lose his desire. Richard says “he doesn’t want the headaches”. Larry says “when I appointed you Chief (Richard) you were a man, a go getter, now you are handing things off”. He then says “he hates to see that this is the man he has become”, and says “if so then he should step down”. Roger is a patient with a cronic cold. He's been there three times and it won't go away. He talks about not being able to "seal the deal" with his girlfriend because of the snotty nose and goes on and on about being with someone that drives you insane (in a good way). That they are like oxygen to you and how you feel like you'll die if you can't touch them. Celeste is Nancy's husband's mistress. There are no sides for the husband, which is strange. Celeste and the husband are brought in and the husband is taken to surgery and the doctor assures Celeste that his condition is not contagious, even while sleeping together. Celeste talks about falling for a married man and waiting for him to leave his wife, years go by, and he still hasn't left her. The doctor for her sounds like Meredith to me because she promises "No Judgement" to Celeste. Celeste's S.T.D. test comes back negative and she seems disappointed because if she did have something he would have had to tell his wife. Nancy shows up at the hospital later and tells the doctor that she knows of her husband's affair, that the wife always knows. The husband comes through the surgery and she asks the doctor to go tell Celeste because she doesn't have it in her to take care of her husband's girlfriend. -the above from NST on ABC --------------------------------------------------------------------- Miss Bee Mar 8, 2007 @ 7:14 pm Post#13624 New sides are up for episode 21, which is entitled "Desire". Now, if we weren't told by spoilers that Addison has sex with McSteamy (thank you, at least I get shirtless McSteamy), I would think it's about them, but since they even have to start filming this episode, not really plausible. At all. Anyway. The sides are for Celeste, Nancy and Roger. Celeste is a woman who has a relationship with a married man. Has been going on for five years, and she says they're in love, but he hasn't left the wife. And yet keeps sticking with the girlfriend because they are in love as in real love. She tells this to a doctor who is doing a pelvic exam, so clearly Addison. Nancy is the wife of this guy, and she shows up and then tells Addison that she knows that Celeste is her husband's girlfriend. So my idea is that this is the closure for Addison with Derek and Meredith. Admitting she had been living in denial, after witnessing that Derek never loved her the way he loves Meredith. So probably setting her up for actually moving on and going. Roger, instead, is a patient who is 30 something and attractive but has a very, very red nose because he has a cold that's been going on forever and never stops. Nose constantly dripping. And he talks to two doctors about this girl he has that basically makes his blood boil, and describes the desire thing so well that the doctors go "we get it!" as in "stop, we're getting hot here" LOL. Roger says he can't get close to the girl in that way because the nose thing is disgusting. Not sure who this desire thing could be referring to. Either Addison and Mark or Derek and Meredith I guess. Or Alex and Izzie if they're back being a couple, given their past history of having sexcapades in the hospital. LOL. Anyway funny side.
