Personally, I can't wrap my head around Derek cheating. I just can't figure out why he would do it...at all. Shonda JUST said in her blog last week that Derek knows he loves Meredith more than anything else in his life. I just can't see how you can go from that to cheating. Even if he thinks she doesn't want him....jumping to cheating just seems off. I mean Derek does some irrational things but that would top the cake. And it would kill Mer/Der. Besides....if he was going to cheat would he really pick the girl up in the bar when he's with people that consider Mer a friend? That just seems a little stupid...I mean if he left to go off with her....wouldn't Burke or Mark ask him what the hell he was doing? So that leaves us with a few options... 1) He shoots her down flat...and one of the others guys (Mark and Alex are both single) go after her and she's for them. 2) He flirts but leaves it at that. And then she ends up being an intern at the hospital...entirely possible as if I'm not mistaken we have sides for a new intern. And she might make life hard for Mer/Der at the beginning of next season. 3) It's Lexi Grey. 4) It's a complete foiler Shonda put out there as too many of us were confident that he wouldn't cheat. The fact that we see her and Derek together on the promo and now get word that she's on for more episodes maybe makes me think she definitely isn't for him. That would be a HUGE cliff hanger this season, Shonda wouldn't put that out there....I'd be shocked. So I'm really expecting some twist that we're not seeing. Of course, I could be wrong. But my gut says I'm not. I just don't see her killing Mer/Der that way. I think its everything christina dosent want. I am going to put this out there. I think this whole bar ***** thing is crap. I dont think she is going to sleep with derek. I think there is somthing there. I mean its almost like the whole mer is pregant thing. I mean everyone out there is posting that mcdreamy might sleep with this girl. Its a great way to get people to freak out and think omg this is going to happen but the way the spoilers are comming out about her just make me think its somthing fishey!!! I dont know something dosent sit right with this whole mcdreamy sleeps with her. JMO I've been saying that all along. The promo and all the reaction to it reminds me so much of the pregnancy one. How many articles were there saying that Mer might be pregnant? this panicking thing we're doing right now...tht's where we're supposed to be. I think it's pretty clear that the fact we know NOTHING about Mer/Der in the finale makes it pretty clear that something big is going to happen. Either good or bad. Now right at this moment everything is pointing towards bad....which makes me think it's going to be good. Because we always get plot twists. I do think they are going to be fine. I think tomorrow night we'll be shaking our fists at God...but it will be okay. And I don't know about everyone else...but those pics strangely make me feel hopeful. I don't know why.
