In an interview with AOL, Patrick Dempsey himself dropped a major spoiler for the MerDer relationship in the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy. If you don’t want to know, stop reading now! ** Here’s the full quote from McDreamy: “I have like a rainbow colour of pages in front of me that I’m trying to put together in my script, and I just got to the final scene. And it’s a beautiful scene where (my character and Meredith) get back together. It’s really quite something. It’s unexpected, I think, the way it plays itself out. It kind of gets back to the essence of what made this show so great.” It’s looking like that major and “unexpected” kiss we’ve all been speculating about might turn out to be Meredith and Derek after all! Of course, as many of you pointed out, a MerDer kiss is anything but unexpected so perhaps Patrick Dempsey is just trying to distract us from the real major kiss of the episode. I think someone suggested George and Bailey? Hey, George did say they were in love and headed to Vegas.
