HOSPITAL - JORDAN’S ROOM – DAY Dr. Vernon informs JORDAN”S devastated BOYFRIEND and sobbing PARENTS about her condition. Dr. Vernon: Unfortunately we couldn’t finish the surgery, because she was too unstable. And we couldn’t fully close, because of the excessive swelling. Jordon’s Father: But you’ll be able to finish the surgery eventually? Dr. Vernon: Yes. IF she stabilizes. Jordon’s Mother: and then she’ll be able to breathe on her own again? Dr. Vernon: Her brain wasn’t getting enough oxygen, so it’s highly unlikely that she’ll ever be able to come off the ventilator. As Jordan’s mother hugs her husband for comfort .... End Scene 1 ______________________________ Jordan’s Boyfriend - Scene 1 INT. HOSPITAL - JORDAN’S ROOM – DAY Dr. Vernon informs JORDAN”S devastated BOYFRIEND and sobbing PARENTS about her condition. Dr. Vernon: Your daughter’s heart stopped during surgery, which means her brain wasn’t getting enough oxygen. So,it’s highly unlikely that she’ll ever be able to come off the ventilator. Jordon’s Boyfriend: But she’s still alive. Dr. Vernon: Yes. As long as she’s on the ventilator, she’s still alive. As Jordon’s boyfriend sits down in a chair next to her bed to take her hand. End Scene 1 ______________________________ Jordan’s Father - Scene 1 INT. HOSPITAL - JORDAN’S ROOM – DAY Dr. Vernon informs JORDAN”S devastated BOYFRIEND and sobbing PARENTS about her condition. End Scene 1 ______________________________ Recruiting Clerk - Scene 1 INT. HOSPITAL - ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES – LATE AFTERNOON A CLERK knocks on the HUMAN RESOURCES SUPERVISOR’S door. HR. Supervisor: Come in. The Clerk opens the door as the Supervisor is packing u for the day. Clerk: We’ve got one more. A new intern. He apologizes for being late. HR. Supervisor: Send him in And the Supervisor put down his briefcase, sitting back down at his desk. End Scene 1 ______________________________ HR Supervisor - Scene 1 INT. HOSPITAL - ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES – LATE AFTERNOON A CLERK knocks on the HUMAN RESOURCES SUPERVISOR’S door. HR. Supervisor: Come in. The Clerk opens the door as the Supervisor is packing u for the day. Clerk: We’ve got one more. A new intern. He apologizes for being late. HR. End Scene 1 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Sides summary for episode 5.23 "Here's to Future Days" Recruiting Clerk/HR Surpervisor - sides for both characters are the same. Hospital Administrative Offices: Clerk knocks on the Human Resources Supervisor's door and he's packing up for the day. The Clerk says they have a new intern and he apologizes for being late. HR Supervisor tells him to let the intern in and sits back down at his desk. Jordan's father - in Jordan's room: Dr. Vernon informs Jordan's devastated parents and boyfriend that they couldn't finish the surgery because Jordan was too unstable abd they couldn't fully close because due to the excessive swelling. Jordan's father asks if they'll be able tofinish the surgery at some point and Dr. Vernon says yes, if Jordan stabilizes. Dr. Vernon watches Jordan's father hold her mother tighter. Jordan's boyfriend - in Jordan's room: Dr. Vernon informs Jordan's parent and boyfriend that her heart stopped during surgery which means her braing wasn't getting enough oxygen so she'll probably never be able to come off the ventilator. Jordan's boyfriend says that she's still alive to which Dr. Vernon agrees and says as long as she's on the ventilator, she's alive. Jordan's boyfriend sits in the chair next to her bed and takes her hand. ----------------------------------------------- The sides say it's at the hospital administrative offices with an intern coming in but I'm sure the casting call is actually right on this one. This is a actually a recruiting office with the Recruiting Officer and Clerk and a recruit is coming in. Looks like George may really want to be all that he can be in the army. Episode 5.23 - Here's to Future Days - Casting Call - March 28, 2009 This episode will shoot between the 6th and 16th of April.
