Michael Ausiello - Wednesday, May 9, 2007
Question: I just saw the promo for tomorrow's Grey's Anatomy. Please tell me Derek doesn't sleep with that bar slut!— Stephanie
Ausiello: Rumor has it that that bar slut (aka Reunion's Chyler Leigh) was offered a 13-episode contract next season. In other words, if he doesn't sleep with her this season, he's bound to next.
Question: Seriously, what did you think of the Addison show?— Kelly
Ausiello: I'll say this: It read much better on paper.

* new 05/09 - Sources close to Grey’s Anatomy tell me that Chyler Leigh — the Reunion star who plays the bar hussy we saw in last week’s promo — has been offered a multiple-episode arc for next season. Source: Kristin on E!Online [Note: Ausiello says that Chyler Leigh was offered a 13-episode arc.]

Ask Ausiello Wednesday, May 2, 2007
Question: I find it funny that you refused to tell us who would slap Meredith at the end of this week's Grey's Anatomy because it would ruin the surprise, but then ABC went ahead and gave it away in its promo!— Nancy
Ausiello: I found that rather annoying humorous myself. I guess the takeaway lesson there is it's pointless to hold back on Grey's spoilers. I certainly won't make that mistake again.

Question: Only one more day until Grey's 2.0! Last chance for scoop!— Bridget
Ausiello: Just like on the original Grey's, the elevator at Addison's new workplace is as pivotal a character as the staffers themselves. In fact, this one even talks!

Question: Can you please give us something on Grey's, specifically Meredith and Derek? Are they going to be happy together anytime soon?— Inma
Ausiello: Certainly not by the end of tomorrow night's episode, when life deals Meredith yet another bad hand (someone shuffle the damn deck already!). You know, a knight in shining whatever can only do so much.
Question: When will we find out the results of the race for chief on Grey's Anatomy?— Alistair
Ausiello: Surprise — the May 17 finale!

Question: Does the National Enquirer really know what it's talking about re: Grey's Anatomy?! A trip to my local supermarket provided me with the news that Isaiah Washington and T.R. Knight are leaving, and Derek dumps Meredith in order to be named chief.— Margaret Rose
Ausiello: Shameless cross-promotional plug alert! That very question is answered in the latest episode of my Ausiello Report vodcast, which is now playing at Ausiello Central.

Grey's Anatomy Spoilers - Updated on April 25, 2007
Episode 3.22 and 3.23: The Other Side of This Life [2-hour Addison spin off]
* new 04/25 - At the end of next Thursday's episode, Burke starts to have some serious reservations about marrying Cristina. And you're never going to believe whom he turns to for advice. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

Episode 3.25: Didn't We Almost Have It All? (Season finale)
* new 04/25 - I hear [Jane Doe]'s getting an actual hubby in the season finale, so it stands to reason that her identity is part of the package. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

Ask Ausiello - Wednesday, April 25, 2007 - Scoop on Grey's Anatomy,

Question: My 21st birthday is today and, aside from a good drink, I would like nothing more than some scoop on Grey's Anatomy. Please tell me that Callie will find out soon about George and Izzie whoring around behind her back?— Lauren
Ausiello: Poor Callie will remain blissfully unaware until around, um, let's go with May 10. The following week, I believe the smelly brown stuff hits the fan.

Question: Is Isaiah Washington leaving Grey's Anatomy?— Karen
Ausiello: If he is, ABC is doing a really good job of keeping a lid on it. This much I know for sure: At the end of next Thursday's episode, Burke starts to have some serious reservations about marrying Cristina. And you're never going to believe whom he turns to for advice. (Hint: They had a little dust-up at the Golden Globes.)

Question: On Grey's, will Jane Doe get an actual identity before the end of the season?— Tara
Ausiello: I hear she's getting an actual hubby in the season finale, so it stands to reason that her identity is part of the package.

Question: It seems that, on Grey's Anatomy, Mark's "failure" to go 60 days without sex must mean, dare I say it, that he's unable to have sex? Am I right?— Melinda
Ausiello: Nope. I suggest you hunt down someone by the name of Christine Frickle for the answer to this brainteaser. She was the only AA reader who figured out what I meant by "failure." Congratulations, Christine!

Michael Ausiello - Wednesday, April 18, 2007
Question: At this point, I'm way more excited about the Grey's Anatomy spin-off than the mother ship. Got scoop?— Tammy
Ausiello: Chris Lowell's receptionist/surfer dude will be shirtless in a scene. It's also pretty obvious in the pilot that he's being groomed as a love interest for Merrin Dungey's fertility expert. And Tim Daly is actually playing an alternative-medicine doc, not a plastic surgeon as has been reported. What else do you wanna know?

Question: Please scoop me on the Grey's Anatomy spin-off.— Joshua
Ausiello: Ooooh, just thought of something else: Addison is going to be penetrated by a little prick. Several little pricks, actually.

Question: You said there's a surprise twist to Mark's failure to go 60 days without sex on Grey's Anatomy. Does he have sex with another guy?— Mark
Ausiello: Keep in mind, folks, that I put failure in quotations. Think: Why would I do that?

Grey's Anatomy: Early season finale spoilers - April 13, 2007
Grey's Anatomy - SpoilersGrey's Anatomy returns next Thursday with what seems like its first new episode in years. There are four new episodes left in
the season, including the two-part season finale, which will lay the gourndwork for the Grey's spinoff, starring Kate Walsh. We've been pumping out spoilers for everyone ....(link complete article below)

From 4/11 Ausiello:
In fact, I hear it's their little affair that ultimately leads her to flee Seattle. Also not helping matters: McSteamy's "failure" to stick to his 60-day vow of chastity. Why'd I put failure in quotes, you ask? 'Cause there's a twist (and a surprising one at that)!

* new 04/11 - While she's on the heals of losing someone, Meredith gets slapped by a man close to her and it is suppose to be very suprising. Source: The Ausiello Report

Ausiello for April 11
Question: It seems that you are always on vacation. How many weeks do you get a year?— Shannon Farrell
Ausiello: I get 204 vacation days a year, plus 28 floating holidays and 119 personal days. (I have a really good agent.)

Question: Will Alex and Addison "happen" before she leaves?— Marcia
Ausiello: (Major spoiler alert) Remember how I told you that Grey's decided to put the brakes on Addisex due to Kate Walsh's impending spin-off-fueled exit from the show? Well, it appears either Shonda Rhimes had a change of heart or I was given some lousy intel, because the two of them are definitely doing the horizontal tango before she leaves for Los Angeles.

Question: Just saw your latest vodcast. Please tell me it is not Derek who slaps Meredith in the face.— Monica
Ausiello: And ruin all the suspense?! Pshaw. I can tell you that Derek and Meredith aren't exactly on solid footing by the end of the May 3 episode.

Question: I just had two wisdom teeth pulled, so please pity me and give me some Grey's Anatomy scoop!— Pammy
Ausiello: Addison won't be the only Seattle Grace doc who is considering a change of scenery in the coming weeks. My Grey's mole reports that all the drama surrounding Gizzie-gate will prompt George to consider transferring to another hospital.

Ausiello Report: Violence Erupts on 'Grey’s Anatomy'! - Apr 10, 2007
This weeks top story takes us back to Seattle Grace Hospital where Grey’s Anatomy is preparing to kick its title character while she is down, actually slap is more like. At the end of the May 3rd episode Meredith will get slapped in the face by another character during a tense confrontation and this isn’t an Alexis Crystal grab some popcorn and pull up a seat soapy type cat fight. This one is gonna be ugly, in a ..... I can’t believe he just did that sort of way. I know.... that wasn’t a flub. Meredith’s attacker is a he, even worse it’s someone she very close to. And if this is not enough bad news, this little melee comes on the heels of yet another heartbreaking loss for our poor Meredith. The good news she’s still skinny and beautiful and lets face it that’s what really counts.

Ausiello Report - Posted 03/29/07 5:50 PM
Read Farewell, My Friends...
Relax, I'm just going to Mexico for a few days. You're not getting rid of me that easily. I'll be back next Thursday.

In the meantime, there's no need to let the Ausiello Report just sit around and collect dust while I'm gone. I encourage you to use the comments area below to discuss any/all of the big TV stories that I would have brought to you exclusively had I not been lying on a beach somewhere south of the border. Here are some possible scoops that could potentially break (but hopefully won't) whilst I'm out of the country:

• The CW announces that Gilmore Girls will return for an eighth season.
• The CW announces that Gilmore Girls will end in May with a "poignant and whimsical" series finale.
• Isaiah Washington announces he's leaving Grey's Anatomy to focus on his "burgeoning film career."
• Grey's Anatomy announces Isaiah Washington has been let go "for creative reasons."
• Anything about Veronica Mars, Lost, Heroes, Brothers & Sisters, Scrubs, The Shield, Friday Night Lights, Battlestar Galactica, House, etc.
• Keri Russell delivers a baby boy and names him Michael after "her dear friend and former costar."
• Snapple hires a new spokesperson and it's not me.

Now, let me be absolutely clear: I'm not saying any of these stories will break over the next six days, only that they could. And if they do, feel free to talk about them (or anything else, for that matter) below. Your posts will serve as my catch-up guide when my flight lands Wednesday night.

Of course, in a perfect world, the TV biz would hit the pause button until I returned, but as the middling success of October Road can attest to, this world is far from perfect.

Oh, and don't forget: no new Ask Ausiello next week. However, I did manage to shoot a new episode of my Ausiello Report vodcast before I left, and that will go up Tuesday morning, right on schedule. (I don't think I'm overselling it by saying it's gooood.) Adios!

Michael Ausiello - Wednesday, March 28, 2007
Question: As one of the few supporters of Team Gizzie on Grey's Anatomy, is there any hope? I'm sick of Callie!— Rachel
Ausiello: Yes, it appears there's a glimmer of hope. Sigh….
Question: I know you hate the Izzie-George hookup, but you have to admit, that scene between them in the closet was perfection.— Valerie Armstrong
Ausiello: Yeah, that much I'll give ya.
Question: Please stop referring to the Grey's Anatomy spin-off as "the enhanced two-hour Grey's Anatomy episode with a potential for afterlife." It wasn't even funny the first time, so just imagine how amusing it is now.— C.J.
Ausiello: Can I just do it one more time? Pleeease?!?!
Question: Please, please, please tell me that Izzie is on the pill.— Katherine
Ausiello: Do I look like her personal pharmacist to you? Do I?! But while we're on the subject of contraceptives, before the season is over, one character will discover that she has no need for 'em — and hasn't for some time. (Any self-respecting member of AA should know exactly who I'm referring to.)

Ask Ausiello - Wednesday, March 14, 2007
Ausiello: Let me just say this: After tomorrow's Grey's airs, you'll know which one of the six plot twists is real. Here they are again in case you're too lazy to click on the link above.

• After breaking things off with Cristina, Burke will transfer to another hospital.
• Callie will reveal she's pregnant.
• Izzie and George will hook up.
• Izzie will be reunited with her daughter, and it's someone we've already seen on the show.
• Addison will be diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
• Derek and Meredith's relationship will hit a roadblock when one of her exes shows up on her doorstep with one thing on his mind.

Ausiello: I hear the brakes were put on Addisex the moment it was decided that Justin Chambers wouldn't be following Kate Walsh over to Grey's 2.0. The thinking being: no sense in getting viewers even more invested in Addisex if only one of 'em is returning to Seattle Grace next season.

Question: I am devastated that Shonda Rhimes has put Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s journalist show on the back burner. Can you confirm if this is set for the summer or if it has been canceled altogether?— Julie
Ausiello: ABC insists it's still in play, but word on the street is it's as good as dead. And that's especially true if Grey's 2.0 gets off the ground — which, let's face it, it will.

____________________________________________________________________________

* (3/07) Ausiello: Denny (might be) returning! Again! Sort of! Jeffrey Dean Morgan is in talks to host the latest Grey's clip show in April.

____________________________________________________________________________

* At least one of these things will happen before the end of the season:
• After breaking things off with Cristina, Burke will transfer to another hospital.
• Callie will reveal she's pregnant.
• Izzie and George will hook up.
• Izzie will be reunited with her daughter, and it's someone we've already seen on the show.
• Addison will be diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
• Derek and Meredith's relationship will hit a roadblock when one of her exes shows up on her doorstep with one thing on his mind. (Ausiello 2/21)

Okay - here's the TV Guide scuttle on the Grey's Finale:
"Change is afoot at Deattle Grace as the third season wraps up with the naming of the chief's successor. And things are also in motion outside the hospital walls, with Callie and George coming to terms with their strained relationship and Cristina and Burke heading to the altar. But will they actually say "I do"?"

TV Guide - April 9, 2007
Fall Sneak Peek - Lathering Up - While complicated serialized thrillers are out, every network would love to come up with a sexy, soapy drama in the vein of Grey's Anatomy. ABC is sure to order Kate Walsh's spin-off.

Episode 3.25: Title Unknown (Season finale) - Airdate: May 2007
* new 04/08 - The popular rom-dram may — just may — wash away its Season 3 backstage troubles and on-screen waterski-flirtations with a May wedding for Christina and Burke. Judging by pics and sightings shared at JustJared, Katherine Heigl's Izzie is suited up as a bridesmaid, while Ellen Pompeo appears to be the Mer of honor. The spied scenes, though, are merely from a bridal-shop try-on session for Yang & Co., so will the vow-swap actually go off without a hitch? Source: TV Guide Online

Here's a compilation of all Grey's Anatomy spoilers we've gotten since February 28, 2007:
* (2007-04-04) Following her recent disastrous romantic misfortunes, Addison travels to Santa Monica, Calif., to seek advice from her old medical school pals, Naomi (Merrin Dungey) and Jackson (Taye Diggs) whom she believes have it all: a beautiful teenage daughter, a great marriage and a highly successful health cooperative. Addison quickly learns that Jackson, also a successful TV health guru, has divorced Naomi. During the visit, Addison also meets the rest of the gang at the cooperative: a widowed alternative medicine doctor, a self-doubting therapist, and a male gynecologist who knows little about women, and realizes she is on familiar ground. Addison concludes that the personal lives of the people around her may be a mess, but professionally they stand out. So she decides to leave Seattle Grace behind and join the Oceanside Wellness Group team. [Source: Zap2It]

* (2007-03-28) Meredith and Derek will be going strong for a good, long while. The death of someone very close to Meredith brings MerDer closer together-and tears her apart (again) from her father. There are also rumblings that Sara Ramirez (Callie) might not be coming back as a series regular next season. Cristina and Burke will have a full-on traditional wedding with the big dress and bridesmaids and everything-at the insistence of both her mother and Burke's mother. [Source: Kristin from E!]

Mrs. Egg Harvester is also one of Addison's BFFs and the owner of a state-of-the-art wellness center, which just so happens to be looking for a neonatal specialist. I think you can figure out the rest. [Source: Ausiello]
* (2007-03-12) Merrin Dungey (Alias, The King of Queens), Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy), Chris Lowell (Veronica Mars), Tim Daly (The Nine), Paul Adelstein (Prison Break), and Taye Diggs (Day Break), will all guest star in episodes 3.22 and 3.23, which will serve as the pilot for the potential spin-off. * (2007-02-28) Two new series regulars will soon make their debut on the show. Naomi is an African-American doctor in her late 30s. Dell, a confident male nurse in his early 20s, is said to be an attractive but not hunky type of man. [Source: TV Squad]
* (2007-02-28) The Addison spin off will be set as episodes 3.22 and 3.23 of Grey's Anatomy (the season will have 24 episodes). These episodes, titled "My Favorite Mistake," will also feature Taye Diggs and Hector Elizondo, as Callie's father. [Source: TV Guide Online]

Spoiler Chat: Grey's Casting News May Spell Trouble for Mer-Der!-Mon, May 7, 2007, 5:27 PM
Nikki in Baltimore: Please tell me Derek doesn’t cheat on Meredith with the barwhore!
I wish that I could! The truth is, I honestly don’t know whether McDreamy and McBarwhore will do the McNasty. However, I am very concerned after picking up this bit of scoop: Sources close to Grey’s Anatomy tell me that Chyler Leigh—the Reunion star who plays the bar hussy we saw in last week’s promo—has been offered a multiple-episode arc for next season. Booo! I mean, I love Chyler, but I sure hope her storyline has something to do with Cristina or Burke or Bailey or Callie or Izzie or—you get the idea—and not her sinking her slutty little paws into Mer’s man.

Spoiler w/ Kristin - Mon, Apr 23, 2007, 5:20 PM

Elliot in Sacramento: Have you heard anything good about the Grey's Anatomy spinoff?
And how. Studio insiders tells me the first hour of Private Practice’s pilot (which airs as a Grey’s episode in May) is close to completion and is so "fearlessly good" it’s the most likely of all ABC pilots to receive a pickup. Also, how's this for a juicy little casting tidbit: According to sources, Taye Diggs was originally supposed to play a recurring role on Ugly Betty, but then got offered a series-regular role on Private Practice and jumped ship. A few weeks on Betty...or the chance to become the new McHot Guy? I think he made the right choice, don’t you?

Glenn in Eugene, Oregon: Is Grey's going to suffer now that the spinoff is on the way? Will the writers be pulling double duty?
Grey's writer Mark Wilding tells me the spinoff would probably be staffing "new writers," rather than cannibalizing the Grey's staff. And great news for Buffy fans, it looks like former BTVS boss Marti Noxon has been tapped to run the spinoff.
SPOILER ZONE: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Denise in Covington, Virginia: This Gizzie thing is really pissing me off. Tell me George will come clean with Callie this week.
Sorry, but their secret will stay hidden from Callie for at least a few more weeks, though she knows something's not right.

Samson in Newport Beach: Are Cristina and Burke really going to get married?
They really are going to make it to the altar in the season finale, and the wedding will be everything Cristina did not want, as evidenced by that hilarious pic above! She'll wear a big dress, have bridesmaids and be writing her own vows. So much for the justice of the peace.

Watch With Kristin - Rumor Patrol: Who's Out and Who's In on Grey's Anatomy - Apr 20, 2007
If you happen to be a fan of Grey's Anatomy and also read the National Enquirer report that Isaiah Washington and T.R. Knight would be leaving the show, I have two words for you: ¡Calmate, tigre! (Translation: Settle down, putty tat.)
From what I'm hearing, there is no reason to panic.
Sources close to the show tell me that unless this is the most guarded secret ever regarding Grey's Anatomy (these sources are so inside they knew about Denny's death months before it happened), the rumors of T.R. and Isaiah's departure are completely bunk. ......... Spoiler Chat: Betty Heats Up with Hookups and Breakups; Death Comes to Grey's Anatomy (Yes, Again!) - Apr 16, 2007

Charlie in Cambridge, Ohio: Do you know if Sara Ramirez (Callie) is returning to Grey's next season? I heard a rumor she wasn't, and she has to! I'm in love with her!
Me, too. I can tell you that there is no official news of Ramirez's status for next season; however, I did just run into her as she was being rushed down the carpet into the ceremony at this weekend's 18th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Hollywood. I asked if she'd be interested in joining the spinoff if she were invited, and her response of, "Oh. Gosh. I don't know..." was so hesitant that it did not put my mind at ease. Here's hoping she stays!

Domenica in Manhattan: I'm in desperate need of anything on Grey's Anatomy. Do you have anything good?
Just when you thought Meredith's bright, shiny, post-death-experience life was back on track, she will get close to someone only to lose her. And yes, I did say her! It's not a series regular but someone important in her life.

Joanne in Rochester, New York: Is it true that Mitch Pileggi, aka Skinner from The X-Files, appears in an upcoming episode of Grey's Anatomy?

It is true! Mitch Pileggi plays a patient who, as a member of the hospital's board of directors, also happens to be the Chief's boss. (Mmmm…) By the way, Mitch also has an upcoming gig on Boston Legal, and in case you missed it, the man's recent guest spot on Cold Case as the father of a murdered child was heartbreaking.

Don't read if you don't want to know! Vicky: Was there a "moment" there between Mer and Mark in the scrub room on Grey's?! Please say it ain't so. As far as I know, it ain't so! I'm told Meredith and Derek will be going strong for a good, long while. The death of someone very close to Meredith brings MerDer closer together—and tears her apart (again) from her father.

Thomas in Ohio: Can you please tell us more about the person close to Meredith who dies? It's not McDreamy, is it?
Yes, Patrick Dempsey is getting killed off of Grey's Anatomy. Oh, and the other thing? I'm totally kidding. Read on.

Yellingirl1 in Miami: The death of someone close to Mer isn't her father, is it?
No, but you aren't far off. And you wanna know the really wretched thing? It will be Meredith's fault. Or, at least, it will be perceived that way.

Spoiler Chat: Charting the Grey's Hookups
By Kristin Veitch
Mar 12, 2007 6:00 PM
Julie in New York City: Any Grey's scoop? Please! Are Cristina and Burke actually gonna do it?
Ummm...yes, I'm pretty sure they have already played dirty doctor and naughty nurse, if you catch my drift. But if you're talking about taking the plunge and becoming man and wife, well, it doesn't look likely! Sources tell me that Cristina will soon realize that the only reason she said yes was for him. And by the time the intern-on-intern action goes down, I'm told the Cristina and Burke may be on the outs.

Steph in Ithaca, New York: I saw your latest Vine show, and I'm aghast. Gizzie? It is happening?
Did my facial expression not give it away? Don't make me spell it out for you. Don't make Shonda Rhimes come and kick my ass.

Kristin:
Rob in Los Angeles: Is the Torres family involved in the Grey's spin off? Hector Elizondo is playing Callie's dad on Grey's, and he was announced as part of the Grey's 2.0 cast. According to my sources, this got muddled up in the media. Yes, Hector does play Callie's dad, and yes, he is in the spinoff setup episode, but no, Hector is not involved in the spinoff itself, as had been reported in many outlets. So, Mr. O'Malley and Addison are not running away together. And as I reported in this week's Vine show, she'll have her eye on the sexed up receptionist, Sean Faris from Life as We Know It. (Also known as Tom Cruise's dreamy doppleganger.)

Matthis in Stockbridge, Massachusetts: Are George and Izzie really in love?
They're 100 percent smitten, from what I hear. And, yes, that is a two-way street. There are also rumblings that Sara Ramirez (Callie) might not be coming back as a series regular next season—but I think Izzie started those.

Thomas in Brooklyn, New York: I saw your latest Vine show, and I'm so happy Cristina and Burke are headed for the altar! Is she really going to wear a poofy dress?
Yep. Despite her insistence on city hall, I'm told they'll have a full-on traditional wedding with the big dress and bridesmaids and everything—at the insistence of both her mother and Burke's mother. Look for another bride you love (Lily on How I Met Your Mother) to go through the same thing in May, and another July bride who shan't be named (because her parents read this column).

- There will be two new series regulars on Greys very soon. One of them will be a female doc who's around the same age as Addison. She'll be African-American, and her name might be Naomi. A young guy named Dell who's very cute and could be joining Olivia at the nurses' station! (Kristen 2/26) http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristin/blog...a49a77f4&page=1

Re: Grey's Anatomy - Someone close to Meredith dies. Didn't that happen already? If it's supposed to be another person please God let it be Derek.

03/24 - This episode features powerful Larry, his assistant Celeste, as well as his pampered wife Nancy. Larry is at the hospital as a patient but it seems he may also hold the key to who will be Chief. Celeste gets a pelvic exam as she may have a "condition" she got while being with Larry. Of course, Celeste quickly tells the doctor taking care of her that she and Larry are not having an affair as they have been in love for five years now; he just hasn't left his wife yet! Larry tells one of the surgeons that s/he should get with the program and get his/her drive back as s/he is not as good a doctor as before. At the Duquette Clinic, doctors take care of Roger Bennett, a man with a persistant cold. Source: SpoilerFix.com

Grey's' Spinoff Not All About Addison - 17 April 2007
Two-hour episode also keeps foot in Seattle. Much like Grant Show in Beverly Hills 90210 was for Melrose Place, looks like Addison will be the same. We know her, we know about her, but she is not going to be the primary focus. ABC has released a few more details about the "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff, including the fact that even more familiar faces will be present during the two-hour sweeps episode.
------------------------
For starters, there's a definite airdate for the show -- Thursday, May 3 -- and a title, "The Other Side of This Life." That presumably refers to the basis for the potential spinoff, with Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) headed from Seattle to sunny Santa Monica to visit old friends from med school.
------------------------
But the show won't focus entirely on Addison's road trip.
------------------------
Back in Seattle, Cristina (Sandra Oh) is trying on wedding dresses and enduring the input of both her mother and Burke's mom (returning guest star Diahann Carroll) as she plans her wedding. Jane Doe (Elizabeth Reaser) also suffers a setback, forcing Derek (Patrick Dempsey) to perform emergency surgery.
------------------------
The Addison portion of the episode will feature Tim Daly ("The Nine"), Merrin Dungey ("Alias"), Taye Diggs ("Day Break"), Paul Adelstein ("Prison Break"), Amy Brenneman ("Judging Amy") and Chris Lowell ("Veronica Mars"), all of whom are slated for regular roles if the spinoff, currently titled "Private Practice," gets picked up for next season.
------------------------
Former "Everwood" regular Stephanie Niznik, Andrea Bendewald ("Suddenly Susan") and Gary Hershberger ("Six Feet Under") will also appear in the episode. "Grey's" creator Shonda Rhimes wrote the episode, which Michael Grossman directed. Source: Zap2it

Posting this even though not much really new for us :(
BuddyTV SpoilerFix TVj 5/1/2007 session by Isabelle - May 3, 2007
GREY'S ANATOMY: Have you read this article: http://spoilertv-greysanatomy.blogspot.com...e-shockers.html? If not prepare to get soiled by all the spoilers revealed in there!!! POLL TIME!

promisemethis said: i must have read it all wrong. Because english is not my first language. Is T.R. Knight really leaving the show
GREY'S ANATOMY: If you are to take this article seriously, Isaah Washington and T.R. Knight would both leave the series. (If I read right too ;)).

sadie said: On Grey's are they REALLY going to pursue the Izzy / George love line? I HATE them two together!!!!!
GREY'S ANATOMY: I feel your pain as I hate that couple too. It looks like they will indeed pursue it for a while. But if George is indeed leaving the series, it won't be for too long.

angecu said: Do you think that MerDer will make it okay on Grey's?
GREY'S ANATOMY: From the latest spoilers/rumors, it looks unlikely... short time.

Lunaticbabe said: Is Eric Dane for sure signed for next season of GA?
GREY'S ANATOMY: I'm not sure he is.

hrshykss said: so what is YOUR opinion on whether Burke & George are leaving Grey's Anatomy?
GREY'S ANATOMY: Personally, I'm kind of tired with George's character. He doesn't seem to bring anything new to the show right now. And seeing him with Izzie is not a happy sight. As for Burke, I don't mind his character but I think he needs to go as most fans (including me) always remember what he did off screen this season when Burke is on the screen.

domez said: do Burke and Christina end up getting married?
GREY'S ANATOMY: According to that article I linked to earlier and rumblings around the net, it looks like they may not say "I do". But know that Shonda Rhimes is a master at sending foilers... So we never know.

Lunaticbabe said: So there are rumours about people leaving Grey's Anatomy and potential definites (Kate Walsh). But what about people coming onto
GREY'S ANATOMY: A lot of series (and I'm sure GA is alike), wait for their season finales to air before deciding the fate of their characters and if they need new ones.

MrMike25 said: It doesn't look like McSteamy had much to do next season if Addison leaves... unless they make him chief, which seemed to be hinted at but would infuriate fans of Burke and McDreamy.
GREY'S ANATOMY: Actually, new info say that Derek will be offered the chief's position. Indeed McSteamy doesn't seem to have a storyline much for next season. But the summer could twist that around if they decide to indeed give him something for next season.

Grey's Anatomy Finale Preview - May 2, 2007
The finale of Grey’s Anatomy is just a few weeks away and already a lot of information has leaked from the byways of Hollywood as to just what to expect from the episode titled “Didn’t we Almost Have it all?” Will Cristina and Burke make it to the altar? Episode 3.21: Desire - Airdate: April 26, 2007
Remember how I told you that Grey's decided to put the brakes on Addisex due to Kate Walsh's impending spin-off-fueled exit from the show? Well, it appears either Shonda Rhimes had a change of heart or I was given some lousy intel, because the two of them are definitely doing the horizontal tango before she leaves for Los Angeles. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

Ep. 321 - More Desire Scoops Emerge - April 11, 2007
More information has arrived concerning the highly anticipated pre-finale Grey's Anatomy episode 'Desire'. This episode is supposed to more or less set up the events of the finale / spin off pilot that will find Dr. Addison (Kate Walsh) headed for a 'simpler' life. When the Grey's Anatomy finale airs, we'll not only meet those characters, but get closure on what personal trauma it is that drives Addison away for good. Grey's Anatomy Spoilers 4/10 - April 10, 2007
ABC has been kind enough to throw us a few details regarding April 26th’s all new episode of Grey’s Anatomy ‘Desire’. Grey's Anatomy: Spoilers Grab Bag - 4/5/07
Another Thursday night, another Grey's Anatomy repeat. It feels like months since we've seen a new episode, and we still have two more weeks before the next brand-new installment. With that in mind, we actually have procured a number of minor Grey's Anatomy spoilers for you, courtesy of the greatest spoiler gatherer the world has ever known, Isabelle of SpoilerFix. If you didn't already know, Isabelle stops by BuddyTV on most Tuesdays (with summer approaching, it's once a month) for a live SpoilerFix Tvj session. The following Grey's Anatomy spoilers all came from this Tuesday's epic session. Enjoy.

GREY'S ANATOMY: According to site visitor Erika who supposedly has a friend who got his/her hand on a set list, episode 3.22 (and I guess 3.23 as well) would be titled "The Other Side of This Life".

VmIsSmarterThanMe said: Anything new about the addison spin off or Grey's?
GREY'S ANATOMY: The couple who'll go see a therapist in the "spin off" episodes will admit that they are not attracted to one another, never were, and that they got married out of need as both were ready to settle down in their lives.

shsx3 said: anything juicy on grey's anatomy?
GREY'S ANATOMY: Joan, the pregnant woman in episodes 3.22/3.23, slept with three men the week before she got married, which is why no one knows who the real father is. When she'll get the paternity results, Joan will be stunned.

karic27 said: Please tell me the death on Grey's Anatomy is not going to be Mer's new stepmom
GREY'S ANATOMY: I don't know. But from all spoilers we have so far, it looks it'll either be her stepmom or her step-sister.

elaine07 said: Any info on the fate of George and Callie on GA?
GREY'S ANATOMY: Since Izzie and George are supposed to fall in love and rumor as it that the actress playing Callie may not be a regular next season, it is safe to assume that they will eventually part ways.

Angelxlove said: Mcsteamy is staying because Shonda wants to keep everything else as normal as possible this is also why eric dane and justin chambers weren't moved to ""private practice"
GREY'S ANATOMY: There were no plans to move Justin Chambers to PRIVATE PRACTICE. Actually, when the spin off took shape, they tanked the Alex/Addison thing so to not have fans grow attach to this couple and have them be separated because Addison would go away.

tammyluke35 said: Any chance Chris O'Donnell is coming back to invade the comfy cozy "mer/der" thing on GA?
GREY'S ANATOMY: There are no plans to have O'Donnell back at this time.

tammyluke35 said: Any more Grey's spoilers?

Will This Woman Steal McDreamy? - Tuesday, May 08, 2007
Worried fans of "Grey's Anatomy" are wondering - who is that bar whore McDreamy is chatting with in next episode's promo and will he cheat on Meredith? As E! Online reports, the actress who plays her may be joining the drama next season.
Two years ago, actress Kate Walsh was one of the most "hated" women in America after her character Addison Montgomery joined "Grey's Anatomy" in the first season cliffhanger threatening to take Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) away from the title character Meredith (Ellen Pompeo.)
In the meantime Kate, who has remained on the medical drama, as she herself puts it, "like a house guest who wouldn't leave," is today one of its most popular characters.
Furthermore, the producers are putting together a new spin-off series based on her character leaving for greener pastures, or that is, sandy beaches of L.A.
Will "Reunion" alum Chyler Leigh who, as E! Online reports, has been offered a multiple episode-arc for next season, also be that lucky?
Given the negative reception two seconds of her character's appearance in this week's episode promo have generated, that will be highly unlikely.
http://televisionista.blogspot.com/2007/05...l-mcdreamy.html

- (2007-04-18) Just when you thought Meredith's bright, shiny, post-death-experience life was back on track, she will get close to someone only to lose her. And yes, I did say her! It's not a series regular but someone important in her life. [Source: Kristin from E!]

- (2007-04-11) [It looks like there will be] a May wedding for Christina and Burke. [Source: TV Guide]

- (2007-04-11) Addison and Alex are definitely doing the horizontal tango before she leaves for Los Angeles. I can tell you that Derek and Meredith aren't exactly on solid footing by the end of the May 3 episode. Addison won't be the only Seattle Grace doc who is considering a change of scenery in the coming weeks. My Grey's mole reports that all the drama surrounding Gizzie-gate will prompt George to consider transferring to another hospital. [Source: Ausiello]

- (2007-04-04) Following her recent disastrous romantic misfortunes, Addison travels to Santa Monica, Calif., to seek advice from her old medical school pals, Naomi (Merrin Dungey) and Jackson (Taye Diggs) whom she believes have it all: a beautiful teenage daughter, a great marriage and a highly successful health cooperative.

- (2007-03-28) Meredith and Derek will be going strong for a good, long while. The death of someone very close to Meredith brings MerDer closer together-and tears her apart (again) from her father. Cristina and Burke will have a full-on traditional wedding with the big dress and bridesmaids and everything-at the insistence of both her mother and Burke's mother. [Source: Kristin from E!]

- (2007-03-28) Before the season is over, one character will discover that she has no need for contraceptives - and hasn't for some time. [Source: Ausiello]

- (2007-03-21) George and Izzie will fall in love. [Source: Kristin from E!]

- (2007-03-21) Addison comes to the conclusion that McSteamy is about a decade away from becoming father material, and hightails it to Los Angeles to meet with one of the world's foremost fertility experts. Mrs. Egg Harvester is also one of Addison's BFFs and the owner of a state-of-the-art wellness center, which just so happens to be looking for a neonatal specialist. I think you can figure out the rest. [Source: Ausiello]

- (2007-03-12) Merrin Dungey (Alias, The King of Queens), Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy), Chris Lowell (Veronica Mars), Tim Daly (The Nine), Paul Adelstein (Prison Break), and Taye Diggs (Day Break), will all guest star in episodes 3.22 and 3.23, which will serve as the pilot for the potential spin-off. [Source: TV Squad]

- (2007-03-07) Addison and Mark will hook up again. [Source: Kristin from E!]

- (2007-02-28) Two new series regulars will soon make their debut on the show. Naomi is an African-American doctor in her late 30s. Dell, a confident male nurse in his early 20s, is said to be an attractive but not hunky type of man. [Source: TV Squad]

- (2007-02-28) The Addison spin off will be set as episodes 3.22 and 3.23 of Grey's Anatomy (the season will have 24 episodes). These episodes, titled "My Favorite Mistake," will also feature Taye Diggs and Hector Elizondo, as Callie's father. [Source: TV Guide Online]

National Equirer
“Grey’s Anatomy” Isaiah Booted Off & Shockers from the Season Finale

It’s a bloodbath on “Grey’s Anatomy!” Controversial star Isaiah Washington is getting the boot, but he’s not the only one leaving! The Enquirer has learned exclusively that T.R. Knight and Kate Walsh will also check out of the hit ABC medical drama in the blockbuster season-ender airing May 17th. An insider claims, “This season finale is by far the most exciting and dramatic ‘Grey’s’ show ever!”

In the finale’s most explosive twist, Isaiah’s character Dr. Preston Burke is passed over for the hospitals chief of surgery job and storms out of his wedding to Dr. Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh).

T.R. Knight, character Dr. George O’Malley finds that he failed his final exam to become a doctor – and decides not to repeat his internship.

According to Enquirer’s insider, “Isaiah’s exit isn’t surprising, and T. R. never really got over the gay slur incident and was very disappointed with the way it was. Producers begged him to stay and they’ve left the door open for his return. But, right now, he has no intention of coming back.”

Chief of Surgery Dr. Richard Webber (James T. Pickens) gets the shock of his life when his estranged wife is wheeled into the OR, pregnant and bleeding. And he’s certain he’s not the father!

Meredith gives a heartfelt speech after Burke storms out of his wedding.

A network source reveals, “She points out that although doctors are good at fixing patients’ problems, they don’t know how to repair their own relationship.

Dr. McDreamy announces that he’s had enough of their on-again, off-again relationship – and confesses there may be another woman in his life!

Two riveting medical themed stories will also play out in the season-ending episode.

“Dr. Alex Karev will learn the real identity of a pregnant Jan Doe when her husband shows up,” said the network source.

“And Dr. Shepherd will discover that a mountain climber who was brought to the hospital with an ice axe lodged in head was not the victim of a freak accident, as his friends say, but foul play.”

Aimee's Predictions, Questions or Wild Ass Guesses

Aimee questions....
She posted only on April 3 with the Aimeeexplainsitall screen name. Here is her list of answered questions:

Burke and Christine will be getting married in the season finale. Kali is not actually pregnant, but she'll pretend she is when she finds out about George and Izzy. Gizzy will go strong until next season, when Izzy's daughter returns.

Yes, her abortion made her that way. On her spinoff, she will harvest her eggs and fall for the fertility expert.

It will be revealed that Izzie has a daughter and that she is sick, she will not be returning in this episode.

Mark and Addison will hook up one more time before she leaves. Before she does, she will find him with soemthing else.

Mer and Der's questioning of status will be a housing discussion.

who is donating bone marrow next episode....this should be interesting.
Izzie.

I don't know about George and Izzy in the very end, but I do know that they will be on again off again, and off again my mid season four

Derek wants to build a house, but Meredith says that she doesnt want to let her mothers house go. Derek asks if she has problems committing to him, and she says no. They fight a little, and Derek says to just forget about it all.

Intresting I like you. So they will have an on and off and on and off relationship. Will we have plenty of tension moments between George & Izzie? And plenty of hints between them? Also will we ever see George jealous of a guy flirting with Izzie?

It will be tensious for a while, until the finale i'm told... then there will be a huge breakthrough. i don't know what that is yet. I dont know all of the details about the relationship, but i'm sure that they will act like every other couple does

what is going to be going on during the season finale?
burke and christinas wedding

Alex and Izzy will have a blowup about the gizzy relationship in the coming episodes. They will stop speaking. Alex is the one to console Izzy when George breaks her heart next season tho

Meredith and derek will fight at the wedding about her not letting him in. he storms out and she follows him. he gets hit by a car

Will George be moving back into the house?
yes, into izzys room, which causes alex to go ballistick

BuddyTV SpoilerFix TVj Session by Isabelle - April 4, 2007

arlewis said: Hello!! Any GA spoilers?
GREY'S ANATOMY: According to site visitor Erika who supposedly has a friend who got his/her hand on a set list, episode 3.22 (and I guess 3.23 as well) would be titled "The Other Side of This Life".

VmIsSmarterThanMe said: Anything new about the addison spin off or Grey's?
GREY'S ANATOMY: The couple who'll go see a therapist in the "spin off" episodes will admit that they are not attracted to one another, never were, and that they got married out of need as both were ready to settle down in their lives.

karic27 said: Please tell me the death on Grey's Anatomy is not going to be Mer's new stepmom
GREY'S ANATOMY: I don't know. But from all spoilers we have so far, it looks it'll either be her stepmom or her step-sister.

shsx3 said: anything juicy on grey's anatomy?
GREY'S ANATOMY: Joan, the pregnant woman in episodes 3.22/3.23, slept with three men the week before she got married, which is why no one knows who the real father is. When she'll get the paternity results, Joan will be stunned.

karic27 said: Is there anything new on Gizzie?
GREY'S ANATOMY: Nothing new. The rumor is still that they will end up falling in love. Nothing more was released.

greysfan15 said: are Izzy and George really gonna be love on Grey's Anatomy? I can't believe it!!!!!
GREY'S ANATOMY: Better believe it.

tammyluke35 said: Any chance they'll move Grey's back to Sunday night? I miss that!
GREY'S ANATOMY: No chance as for the first time in years and years, ABC gets good ratings on Thursdays.

aimee said: I need something on Burke and Cristinia..iy seems she wants things to work out. Will their be a wedding? Any luck on a proposal between Mer and Der?
GREY'S ANATOMY: Sadly, I can't confirm anything. It does seem Burke and Cristina will wed. Due to the amount of proposals this year, I don't think they'll have a Mer/Der proposal.

elaine07 said: Any info on the fate of George and Callie on GA?
GREY'S ANATOMY: Since Izzie and George are supposed to fall in love and rumor as it that the actress playing Callie may not be a regular next season, it is safe to assume that they will eventually part ways.

VmIsSmarterThanMe said: First I heard that Burke and Christina were breaking up and I was pleased, and now they are having this big wedding? What's going on?
GREY'S ANATOMY: Remember that GA is one of the shows were we often get spoilers (from any source) that are right but are for the wrong people. Or the main action of the spoiler is right but the setting is changed (like I was told Izzie would return a sweater to the store, when in fact she was cashing in her big cheque).

Angelxlove said: I thought Kristin on E said a while ago Mcstizzle was on? I suppose they dropped that unless next season he's the comp. against George
GREY'S ANATOMY: Seems that it is indeed dropped.

aimee said: Any word who will be chief on Grey's?
GREY'S ANATOMY: It's a doctor? lol No one knows yet.

aimee said: Will McSteamy be a regular next season since Addison might be gone? What about McSteamy and Callie?
GREY'S ANATOMY: We don't know yet if McSteamy will return next season. He can stay on GA even if Addison is not there. They are not attached to the hip. Callie and McSteamy could be a possibility. Who knows?

Glass said: Will Grey's current chief, Richard, be staying?
GREY'S ANATOMY: My hunch says no. But there are ways he could stay. He could decided to not quit or maybe he could somehow work at the Duquette Clinic?

Angelxlove said: Mcsteamy is staying because Shonda wants to keep everything else as normal as possible this is also why eric dane and justin chambers weren't moved to ""private practice"
GREY'S ANATOMY: There were no plans to move Justin Chambers to PRIVATE PRACTICE. Actually, when the spin off took shape, they tanked the Alex/Addison thing so to not have fans grow attach to this couple and have them be separated because Addison would go away.

mattyd1988 said: is private practice the real name for the spin off or just what people have started calling it cause i think it sounds stupid
GREY'S SPINOFF: It's the official "unofficial" name the network uses to talk about the spin off.

tammyluke35 said: Any chance Chris O'Donnell is coming back to invade the comfy cozy "mer/der" thing on GA?
GREY'S ANATOMY: There are no plans to have O'Donnell back at this time.

schwa044 said: It says on buddy tv that Private practice will take place in a small town but Auseillo and Kristen both said Los Angeles... what do you know?
PRIVATE PRACTICE: It'll take place somewhere in California ;)

tammyluke35 said: Any more Grey's spoilers?
GREY'S ANATOMY: It will be revealed that Beverly, the character who wants plastic surgeries after plastic surgeries, has a brain tumor.
