Not sure if you've seen it but there's a sneak peak out now too - Apr 13 @ 02:24 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47HkYNdzO6o&NR=1 Grey's Anatomy: 3.20 Updated spoilers, plus a Grey's special - March 30, 2007 Okay, we've got a little spoiler tidbit for all you Grey's Anatomy spoiler junkies out there, something to hopefully make your long and arduous wait until the next new episode a little easier to bear. The next new episode (“Time after Time”, aka “Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing”) doesn't air until April 19, but in two weeks we're going to get a special “clip” episode, hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“Denny”) highlighting some of the best moments of the first three seasons. Of course, not everybody is in to that sort of thing. Clip shows have been around forever, but at least in recent years TV shows haven't been shameless about using them. They'll be upfront about them when they air, rather than pretending that it's just another episode and only filming a couple of new scenes to frame the clips. You know what I'm talking about. In the 80's and early-90's (sitcoms especially) would air what were supposed to be new episodes, but the theme of the episode would quickly turn nostalgic, the characters suddenly reciting lines like “Remember that time...” and “Yeah, it's kind of like...” Thankfully, networks have realized that the cost-cutting maneuver of parading a clip episode out on the air as if it were a brand-new show does more harm than good in terms of fan relations. Now, shows like Lost & Grey's use precisely edited clip shows to allow fans to enter the mythology of their series without them having to go back & watch preceding seasons. Anyway, we have a little info on that clip show and a new nugget of info for “Time after Time”. Spoilers, as always, are from Isabelle of SpoilerFix.
