Knight was involved in a minor car accident in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, March 19 that involved two other vehicles. Fortunately, he wasn't injured, it has been confirmed. Knight reportedly was making a left turn in an area of heavy construction on Hollywood Boulevard when he collided with another vehicle. A third car carrying two passengers was also involved in the crash. "No one suffered major injuries," Sgt. O.C. Smith told People, but a man and a woman of one of the cars were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The cause of the minor car accident has not yet been determined. As of press time, no charges have been filed against anyone. T.R. Knight is Emmy Award-nominated and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning actor. His most recognized acting role is Dr. George O'Malley in TV series "Grey's Anatomy", which he still stars in. Knight (aka George) hasn't attended table reads since this season's Episode 2, "is pissed and miserable," and "has quit." These rumblings about Knight come on the heels of at least one recent blind item suggesting that a Grey's player has been rubbing cast and producers the wrong way, and as such has been unofficially excised from the show (as evidenced by scarce screen time). Asked to address the new and specific rumor about Knight packing his dressing room and bidding his hair and make-up people farewell, a show rep tells TVGuide.com, "T.R. has never walked off set in the middle of filming. He attended the table read [on Monday] and will be shooting this week, like any other week of production." Knight, of course, played a role in the aforementioned October 2006 altercation between Dempsey and Washington, who went toe-to-toe when the latter referred to a then-closeted Knight using a gay epithet. I tell you this, because, apparently, there is a rumor floating around—which started somewhere in the mysterious ether of the World Wide Web—that T.R. only signed on for 12 episodes this season. And a handful of you have sent in panicked Q's asking if this is true. While the show's official rep at ABC says she never comments on the details of actors' contracts, an inside source close to the show tells me this is most definitely not true. I'm told T.R. has signed on for all episodes of the upcoming fourth season and that he never would have been given his recent pay hike had he only signed on for half of the episodes. As for the storyline, you may remember that George McStupiePants (kidding!
