...the tub is overflowing with spoilers so we have created this area to keep track of them... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Grey's Anatomy Spoilers - Updated on May 15, 2008 Episode 4.15: Losing My Mind Airdate: May 15, 2008 * new 05/15 - Dr. Erica Hahn, the head of cardiothoracic surgery at Seattle Grace Hospital, may be a breezily officious, raging workaholic. But the actress who plays her, Brooke Smith, isn't entirely surprised when the escalating chemistry between Hahn and Dr. Callie Torres leads to a liplock in the May 15 episode of Grey's Anatomy. Source: TV Guide Online * 05/07 - Ava/Rebecca is actually sick, and that will be a big storyline for both Alex and Izzie. Source: Kristin on E!Online * 04/27 - Dr. Wyatt refuses to let Meredith give up on therapy, Alex learns the truth about Rebecca's medical condition, the Chief insists that Erica perform a risky surgery on his mentor, and after receiving news of Burke, Cristina continues to do things contrary to her nature, going so far as cleaning her always-messy apartment. Source: ABC Episodes 4.16 and 4.17: Freedom (Two-hour season finale) Airdate: May 22, 2008 * new 05/15 - The "major" kiss Shonda Rhimes was referring to takes place next week in the season-ender - and it may or may not pertain to a second, more passionate Hahn/Callie buss. This much I can confirm for you: The May 22 finale features several kisses, all of which I'd characterize as significant. But only one is so good that, to quote Rhimes, it will make you "lean into your televisions." Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide * 05/07 - On the two-hour season finale of Grey's Anatomy, Meredith and Derek have one last shot at a successful outcome in their clinical trial, as the other surgeons work together to free a boy from a hardening block of cement. Meanwhile, Izzie helps Alex care for an ailing Rebecca, and Lexie discovers critical information about George's intern status. Amy Madigan guest stars. Source: ABC * 05/07 - I can tell you that Eric Dane (Mark "McSteamy" Sloan) has a nude scene in the finale. Who he's gettin' naked with I cannot say, but obviously there is gonna be some steam involved. Source: Kristin on E!Online * 04/27 - Teenager Pete is brought to the hospital after a dare (jumping into a pool from a roof) went terribly wrong. Jeremy and Beth, a couple in love, both undergo surgery and are afraid the other won't come out of it alive. Source: SpoilerFix.com http://www.spoilerfix.com/grey.php ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Grey's Anatomy Spoilers - Updated on March 30, 2008 Episode 4.12: Where The Wild Things Are Airdate: April 24, 2008 new 03/30 - "When we come back, we'll have leapt ahead five or six weeks in time," creator Shonda Rhimes says. "It's our way of acknowledging the bump caused by the strike. But it'll be very clear from the first moment what has transpired. You'll see where things stand with Derek and Meredith and Rose. You'll see where George is living, and in the first episode all the residents will be involved in a high-stakes surgical contest -- definitely not something the chief would condone." Old relationships will become new again, some people you thought would never get together will, and there are going to be some interesting outside influences," Rhimes promises. George and Izzie have "put it to bed for the night. They've left it at the idea that it's not necessarily about the bad sex as it is the bad timing. What will be interesting to see it that after that intimate explosion of events, whether they can just be friends." Source: TV Guide Episode 4.13: Pieces of My Heart Airdate: May 1, 2008 new 03/30 - Addison will pop up at Seattle Grace to perform surgeries that only she can do and "discover whether you can ever really go home," Rhimes says. Source: TV Guide General Spoilers: new 03/30 - Pretty boy plastic surgeon Mark "McSteamy" Sloan will continue his pursuit of the hard-to-impress Dr. Hahn. "The way that is going to play out will be surprising to everyone," Rhimes says. "Mark Sloan is not used to not getting what he wants." "I am pretty dedicated to the idea that [Meredith and Derek] are to be together for good this season," Rhimes says. "What's going to be interesting is how she gets her act together, and how they decided that this is it." Are those wedding bells we hear?! "I did not say there is going to be a wedding," Rhimes says. "Or a ring. Although I did not say there wasn't going to be a ring." Adjust your schedule accordingly. http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello Grey's Anatomy: Upcoming Season 4 Scoop and Spoilers - Thursday, March 20, 2008 It’s been months since we had a new Grey's Anatomy episode. We fans celebrated when the strike was over, only to realize that it would still be a while before our favorite medical dramedy returned. Lucky for us, this week, TV Guide came out with the biggest helping of Grey’s scoop that one could ask for. Read on for couples news, upcoming storylines, and info on two special guest stars! ** WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD! ** In Grey’s couples news, as many of you know, Shonda Rhimes is hell bent on keeping Derek and Meredith together, which means trouble for Rose. "I am pretty dedicated to the idea that Meredith and Derek are to be together for good by the end of this season," Rhimes told TV Guide. "What's going to be interesting is to see how she gets her act together, and how they decide that this is it." She even hinted at a possible proposal or even wedding by the end of the season. As if that news didn’t make fans happy enough, TV Guide is also reporting that Gizzie (George and Izzie for those not up on their celebrity couple names) are dead for good. One couple who isn’t read to call it quits just yet is Sloane and Hahn. I have no clever name for them other than Hoane or Slahn. Both are terrible. In any event, they’ll continue to dance around the issue of getting together and McSteamy gets a reality check when the woman he wants doesn’t turn to putty in his hands. We are all anxiously anticipating Kate Walsh’s return to Seattle Grace this season. Addison on Private Practice never really did it for me the way Addison on Grey’s Anatomy did. She’ll arrive back just as a patient in desperate need of top notch neo-natal care checks in. Good timing, Addison! It will be interesting to see her reunited with the men of her life: Derek, Mark, and Alex. That will be one awkward reunion I can’t wait to see. Finally, we’ll wrap up this super helping of Grey’s scoop with some guest star news. TV Guide reported today that Carnivale’s Amy Madigan will guest as a psychiatrist. Her HBO co-star Clea Duvall will play that housewife to the Clooney-type doctor that we reported about last week. Grey’s Anatomy returns with all new episodes starting April 24th. http://www.buddytv.com/articles/greys-anat...ason-17812.aspx Gizzie is No More - March 19, 2008 Here's the scoop from Michael Ausiello at TVGuide.com. Grey's Anatomy finally returns on April 24th with five all-new episodes. http://grey-gossip.blogspot.com/2008/03/gi...is-no-more.html MerDer, Alex, and Addison... - March 18, 2008 Here's a ton of scoop from our best scoop gal, Kristin at E! Online. I need Grey's Anatomy news, especially MerDer scoop! Well, you're in luck. Shonda Rhimes was the guest of honor of the Red Tie benefit for the Red Cross of Santa Monica (a relationship that started with that ferryboat-crash episode last season), and chatted about, yes, the future of Meredith and Derek. She said what I know many fans will be happy to hear: "It's time for [Meredith] to get over her issues." Rhimes continued: "She and Derek should either be over by the end of the season, or she should make it on her own. I felt like, you know, what I want to see is what happens after the happily ever after."......cont'd http://grey-gossip.blogspot.com/2008/03/me...nd-addison.html Grey's Anatomy Spoilers - Updated on March 30, 2008 Episode 4.12: Where The Wild Things Are Airdate: April 24, 2008 * new 03/30 - "When we come back, we'll have leapt ahead five or six weeks in time," creator Shonda Rhimes says. "It's our way of acknowledging the bump caused by the strike. But it'll be very clear from the first moment what has transpired. You'll see where things stand with Derek and Meredith and Rose. George and Izzie have "put it to bed for the night. They've left it at the idea that it's not necessarily about the bad sex as it is the bad timing. What will be interesting to see it that after that intimate explosion of events, whether they can just be friends." Source: TV Guide * 03/23 - A male patient is suffered important injuries after his brother drove the car both were in straight into a truck. The patient keeps rambling about the fact his brother married the wrong woman. Otis Sharon, another patient, tells a doctor about mistakes he (Otis) would erase if he could go back to when he was 30. But, after tons of tests, he learns that he only has the flu, Otis changes his tune. Source: SpoilerFix.com * 03/22 - Clea DuVall will fill the "everywoman housewife" role I teased in last week's Ask Ausiello. Her George Clooney-esque husband will be played by Jason O'Mara (Men in Trees, In Justice). I'm guessing one of them will be a patient. Both are on board for two episodes. Source: The Ausiello Report * 03/17 - The George Clooney-type actor they are looking for will play a 40-year-old character named Phillip Robinson. He is described as handsome, rugged and kind. His wife, Jennifer, is a Midwestern type hardworking woman in her late 20s or early 30s. Both will be recurring guest stars. The episode also features Jonah, Phillip's brother, and Otis Shannon, a 60-year-old lonely man. Source: SpoilerFix.com * 03/12 - I'm told that roughly six weeks will have passed, not "several months." And the first scene will most likely take place at Seattle Grace, not at the end of Derek and Rose's latest date. Damn script revisions! [The show is looking for] a George Clooney type, at least, to appear in two episodes. The show also is on the hunt for an actress to play the hunk's wife, who, though younger, is no Sarah Larson; she's more of an everywoman housewife, minus the desperate. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide * 03/12 - It looks like they're casting for a grumpy old man to yell at Lexie and make her think about regret, and for a newlywed couple whose medical situation makes Meredith think about the risk inherent in commitment and/or the dangers of cars crashing into 18-wheelers. Source: Kristin on E!Online * 03/06 - [Nothing new is happening with Derek and Meredith] in the first episode back, which flashes forward a few months and, per one source, picks up at the end of Derek and Rose's latest date. In that same episode, I'm hearing something about a contest to determine who Seattle Grace's best doc is. Source: The Ausiello Report Episode 4.13: Pieces of My Heart Airdate: May 1, 2008 * new 03/30 - Addison will pop up at Seattle Grace to perform surgeries that only she can do and "discover whether you can ever really go home," Rhimes says. Source: TV Guide * 03/23 - This seems to be the episode where Addison will drop by Seattle Grace because one of the cases of the week involves a yet-to-be-born baby whose organs are reversed. An HIV-positive woman learns that she is pregnant. A grandpa-type doctor is called in to help a 35-year-old pregnant woman suffering from Huntington's Disease but refuses to take her on as a patient when he learns of her condition and thinks of the potential malpractice risks involved with the case. Source: SpoilerFix.com * 02/29 - ABC has confirmed that Kate Walsh, whose freshman show Private Practice is on hiatus until fall, will return to Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Addison Montgomery for one episode this spring. Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes is still fleshing out the script, so there's no word yet on when Walsh's episode will air. Source: Entertainment Weekly Episode 4.14: Title Unknown Airdate: May 8, 2008 Episode 4.15: Title Unknown Airdate: May 15, 2008 Episode 4.16: Title Unknown (Season finale) Airdate: May 22, 2008 General Spoilers: * new 03/30 - Pretty boy plastic surgeon Mark "McSteamy" Sloan will continue his pursuit of the hard-to-impress Dr. "Or a ring. Although I did not say there wasn't going to be a ring." Source: TV Guide * 03/23 - George will move toward "becoming that guy," reveals Grey's exec producer Shonda Rhimes, which is a huge relief to T.R. Knight: "He's been such a mess for so long, making weird choices, it'll be nice to see him grow up a little quicker." Helping him get there? The Chief, who will take George under his wing. Christina, meanwhile, will have her own professional crisis over being Hahn's resident, and Ava/Rebecca will be back for three episodes. Also making a brief return: Addison. "There are a couple of surgeries only she can perform," says Rhimes, "and there are a lot of relationships only she has. It's going to be a very significant visit for a lot of the characters - particularly Addison." And we've saved the best for last: While Rose is returning for all five episodes, Meredith and McDreamy will be getting together "for good," says Rhimes. "The goal was not always to get them together at the end of the season, but that is my goal now." Source: Entertainment Weekly * 03/22 - Amy Madigan has booked a multi-episode arc on Grey's Anatomy, sources confirm to me exclusively. The Oscar-nominated thesp [...] is playing a psychiatrist. Source: The Ausiello Report * 03/19 - Gizzie is no more. Sources confirm that the ill-conceived plot twist suffocated to death under the weight of its own absurdity shortly after the writers returned to work last month. Addison just so happens to stop by Seattle Grace on the same day a patient is admitted to the hospital with a neo-natal-type emergency. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide * 03/18 - Sloan and Hahn's verbal sparring will continue. He will have to deal with the fact that Hahn is not that into him. Source: The Ausiello Report * 03/17 - "My goal is to get Meredith and Derek together for good and let them try to figure out what it is to be in a relationship in the future," Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes revealed to EW.com today. [...] Also coming up when Grey's returns for five episodes on April 24: Lauren Stamile, who plays McDreamy's latest potential love interest, Nurse Rose, will return for all five episodes; and Elizabeth Reaser, as Jane Doe, will be back for three. Source: Entertainment Weekly * 03/06 - My Grey's spies tell me that Ms. Rhimes has decided to put the character [of Christina's love interest, originally offered to Joshua Jackson] on hold indefinitely. Source: The Ausiello Report * 02/23 - It appears Joshua Jackson's Grey's Anatomy gig has ended before it began. And once again, the writers' strike is to blame. To quickly recap, Grey's announced last fall that the ex-Dawson's Creeker would be joining the cast for a multi-episode arc as a doctor and, as I would later report, a love interest for Cristina. Unfortunately, just weeks before he was scheduled to shoot his first episode, the writers went on strike and Jackson's stint, just like the TV biz itself, was put on hold. Cut to present day: The strike is over, Grey's is headed back into production, and Jackson is - yep, you guessed it - no longer available. During the work stoppage, J.J. Abrams hand-picked the actor to headline his new X-Files-esque Fox series Fringe , which is currently in production in Toronto (and will be through mid-March). Although an attempt was made to make the scheduling work, ultimately the logistics proved too daunting. Now Grey's is forced to either recast the role or scrap it entirely. An ABC spokesperson declined to comment, but a Seattle Grace insider says a final decision will likely be made in the coming days. Source: The Ausiello Report * 01/16 - When the show returns, Christina will have 2 major storylines: a romance with Joshua Jackson's doctor character and she will help Meredith get over her split with Derek (which will last for awhile - at least until the end of the Derek/Rose arc). Source: The Ausiello Report * 01/10 - I hear Shonda Rhimes has every intention of shoe-horning Pacey [Joshua Jackson] into Seattle Grace (and Cristina's bed) the second the strike is over. Someone - and a major someone at that - wants to be discharged from Seattle Grace, and STAT. But, as far as I can tell, that someone is not Sandra Oh. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide * 01/08 - I'm told the original plan for Lauren was for about seven episodes, possibly more if the Der-Rose chemistry was "humming." ... We'll get much more of Rose when the show returns (whenever that may be). Source: Kristin on E!Online http://www.spoilerfix.com/grey.php ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "Script" Info for EP 4.12 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the post from the person who said they have a script for ep 4.12..... I will post any new info as I get emails........ let's see how this plays out :ph43r: We'll see how things go. If I get ranted and raved off of the boards, I'd be happy to continue updates via email. Remember: This is the first, unrevised draft. So it is probably subject to change. I know a lot of you are concerned about MerDer, so that is where I will start off. The first trace of MerDer in the opening sequence is of Derek in the OR. He is finishing up surgery. The camera pans to Rose in the gallery. She's smiling "obnoxiously" at him. LOL! Then the camera pans behind her to Meredith who is also watching the surgery in the gallery. Derek looks up and it seems as if he is looking at Rose for a second, until Derek and meredith's eyes lock. Rose realizes he isn't looking at her and turns around and sees Meredith but shrugs it off. Meredith realizes what she's doing and runs out of the gallery. It says several weeks have passed. So I'm assuming that during that time Derek and Rose have been dating and Derek and Mer haven't had much contact. Continuing on the MerDer front... There is a kind of cute, funny exchange between Meredith and Cristina. I really hope they keep this in the script, because I'd imagine that Ellen and Sandra would do it well. Meredith talks about how that "da.mn nurse" keeps popping up all over the place. She can't get through an hour without seeing her. Cristina says that maybe if Meredith stayed away from "that da.mn nurse's boyfriend's surgeries" she wouldn't have to constantly see her, but since she is "stalking his OR", she's bound to pop up. Meredith glares at Cristina for a second, but then continues, saying that she is interested in neuro and asking Cristina what she expects her to do. Cristina says no, that she's interested in the head of neruo, not neuro itself, and that evokes a bigger, longer glare from Mer. She says she is over him and moving on. Cristina points out that Meredith hasn't been out with the group in a while, and in order to move on, she needs to get laid. Meredith asks why Cristina hasn't gotten laid since Burke left, and they're left making faces at each other. See, this is what I was afraid of. It is okay if you don't believe me. I can understand why you would not believe this. The reason I came out of the woodwork now only because I saw someone posting incorrect information and I knew that the correct information would be of benefit, and that I had it to give to you all. I've been around lurking since before FutureGreysWriter (who fabricated everything) and before Merderlove1 (or whatever her name was - who had accurate information). I wouldn't make this up, but once, someone else had information too. And as far as I know, the script from 4.12 was started right before the strike and scrapped because they needed to make drastic changes. This new script was started. My friend was let go a week and a half ago, and I received the script by mail about a week ago. If they've edited it since then, which I'm sure they have, I do not have any knowlege about the new script. This is simply all I've bene given and all I've been told. If you choose not to believe me, that is absolutely fine. I wasn't expecting you to. There is no outright blow-up between the two. Nothing really comes to a head yet. It looks as if there are minor improvements and that more will come in following episodes. They'd have to work kind of quickly, though because there will only be five until the finale, but with the way things are on course right now, I think we can have a positive resolution by season's end. MerDershipper said... Do they actually talk to each other in this episode? Does he keep dating the nurse so far? They end up working on a case together later on in the ep, and they don't speak until the very end, when the surgery runs long and they are both scrubbing out. It seems that he realizes what time it is and sighs, and she sarcastically asks if he is late for a date or something. He says yes and she's kind of dumbfounded for a second. Then she says that Rose would get it because "she does the surgery thing too" and he smiles at her and says yeah. And then Mer walks out of the room and Derek follows her out with his eyes and then whispers to himself that Rose doesn't get it as well as others might. KrisLovesGA said... GreyInside - anything about Alex? Yes. There is some kind of dispute over how to treat a patient in the clinic with another unnamed, unimportant resident who they refer to as Dr. Drewin. He gets his interns in on it, trying to sabotage the other resident's case. Lexie continuously comments on how immature he is. Bailey takes both him and the other resident off the case when they find out what is going on, and Lexie calls the other interns over to make fun of him. Very... middle school. I have to run out for a few minutes, but I'll be back later. If the thread is pulled, I'll email some things upon request. Received this email on Wednesday, March 05, 2008 5:59 AM------- Hello all! I'm so sorry I wasn't on the boards all of last night. There was a family situation that I had to take care of, and I didn't have the time to return. I found this morning that my thread was deleted from ABC, so I'll continue my updates via email from now on. First, I really, really want to give a BIG thank you to Amanda (amco1993) because she was amazing in getting all of these emails to me! I couldn't have possibly got all of them on my own! I want to address a few questions that were sent to me too. 1) I cannot give you the whole script. I don't own a scanner and typing it up would be impossible for my little fingers. I will give you dialogue when and where you want it though. 2) "Are there any scenes which help us understand exactly where der and rose are at and if he seems happy?? 2. i am guessing from previous posts that he is still hung up on mer, but what you posted about mark saying mer not trusting him nad he doesnt want that same thing to happen with rose, any idea what he meant by that??? and any other mer/der dialouge??" As far as we're told in the script I have, Derek and Rose have been dating for about two weeks. Rose is deleriously happy but Derek isn't. I don't think that Derek and Meredith had much contact in the two weeksDewith the exception of Mer sitting in on his surgeries. This episode is the first time they're working together since the breakup, and they don't do much talking, but the case kind of parrallels their relationship (a woman finally forgives her ex-fiance for calling off their wedding two years before and they get back together, only for him to fall off a roof during a construction job and bust his head opened). All of their talking pretty much revolves around that, but it seems as if they both recognize the parrallel. The Mark/Derek scene starts off with Mark sitting at Joe's alone. Derek walks in and sits down next to him, and Mark says "You're the last person that I expected to find here." Derek tells him that his surgery ran long. And Mark says "So no fun in the on-call room with Rose?" And then "Or Meredith?" Just as Meredith walks in, looks at Derek for a second, (obviously realizing that he's not on the date that they talked about) and then walks straight up to the bar to join Izzie and Cristina. Then he asks what happened to the date, and Derek just says, to no one "She doesn't trust me." And Mark looks at Meredith, realizing that Derek is talking about Meredith and he says "If you don't want things to go the same way... If you want Rose to trust you... you better go". Derek tells him that he will, just as Mark gets paged. Mark leaves, and Derek calls Rose and tells her that he is stuck at the hospital and won't be able to make it to dinner. If there are any other questions that anyone has, I'll be perfectly happy to answer! Its always great to have an extra set of eyes and ears lookin' for info...... Thanks Amanda for the email that provided these extra tidbits :ph43r: ---- I'd like to mention quickly that Meredith DOES go to Joe's at the end of the episode, but it is not specified what she has to drink, if anything. It says something about Cristina having a beer bottle in hand and Izzie ordering a glass of wine, but nothing about Meredith drinking. So as of right now I think the pregnancy thing is still up in the air. --- Mark's case actually isn't specified... which is actually really odd in itself. It must be one of the most original drafts. There is a lot of [Medical] in his scenes. Which occurs in basically all of the surgical scenes, but his surgical scenes aren't even specifying what the [Medical] is about. I'm guessing that when they go back and fix that, they're going to make it in stronger relation to the theme. There is a scene with him and Derek, at the very end, at Joes (they all congregate at Joe's at the very end of the episode) where Mark is telling Derek that there is a reason that Meredith doesn't trust him, and if he doesn't want things to go the same way wtih Rose, he "better go". Go, is referring to a dinner date that Derek and Rose had planned that Derek was late for (the scene with Mer in the scrub room) he never does show up for that date. (!! There is a PLANT scene mid-episode with her and Derek when they're planning this thing. She initiates it and he seems distracted. He gets paged away) Mark is also involved with the Alex/Clinic thing, but not so much the medical aspect of it. He also has several conversations with Callie about the whole marriage thing (and what makes the relationship work - trust. Wait - THEME! THEME! Could it be trust?), and he is working with George, which pretty much prevokes all of the failed marriage discussion. Nothing really happens between George and Izzie. They talk at lunch but its all awkard and not really romantic. ----- A little eyesex, it seems. Mark gets paged over to the hospital and Derek tells him that he is going to go meet Rose but he stays at the bar after Mark leaves watching Meredith. Meredith sees him and watches him out of the corner of her eye for a little, before Cristina catches her and calls over some random guy and introduces them. Meredith is seemingly disgusted and she walks out and leaves. Derek, it says "satisfied" walks back up to the bar so that he is directly in Cristina's eyeline, orders another drink, goes back to sit down at his table, and calls Rose and tells her that he can't make it and he's stuck at the hospital. -------- 2) "Are there any scenes which help us understand exactly where der and rose are at and if he seems happy?? i am guessing from previous posts that he is still hung up on mer, but what you posted about mark saying mer not trusting him nad he doesnt want that same thing to happen with rose, any idea what he meant by that??? and any other mer/der dialouge??" As far as we're told in the script I have, Derek and Rose have been dating for about two weeks. Source: ABC Episode 4.11: Lay Your Hands On Me Airdate: 2008 * new 11/27 - It'll be a few weeks before we see any serious movement in the Rose/Derek/Meredith triangle. Actually, make that a few months. I'm told the big turning point for these three comes at the end of Episode 11, which was originally scheduled for December but has now been postponed until '08! Episode 11 also happens to be the final episode before Grey's goes on its strike-imposed hiatus, so that big turning point may end up being a big cliff-hanger. And all I'll say is it involves Mer's chilly reaction to a top-secret project that Derek's been toiling over. That final prestrike episode of Grey's will part with tradition in a major way: Someone other than Meredith will be doing the narration. And his/her name is. *a*l**. Source: TV Guide Online ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spoilers from Miscellaneous Sources This was in the current National Enquirer (typed from the print edition, no link): SNEAK PREVIEW: GREY'S ANATOMY - Published on: 09/25/2007 Meredith Grey's love affair with Dr. McDreamy is back on... George O'Malley starts his internship — again... and an injured deer gets treated in the ER! Welcome to Season 4 of ABC's smash hit Grey's Anatomy. The ENQUIRER has an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming plot twists on TV's top-rated hospital drama. One big surprise unfolded off-camera when a skunk wandered onto the set while Dr. McDreamy was popping the question to Meredith Grey — played by Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo, according to an ABC insider. "Derek Shepherd was telling Meredith: 'I want to grow old with you...I want to spend the next 108 winters with you,' when a production assistant noticed the skunk," the source said. "The timing was hysterical. Patrick was right in the middle of this big emotional scene, but everyone's eyes were focused on the skunk!" After a few minutes, crew members chased the skunk off the lot "without triggering a major stink," the source cracked. The new season finds a humbled Dr. George O'Malley (T.R. Knight), who failed his exam during last season's finale, now repeating his internship under Meredith's supervision. New regulars on the show include Richard Keith as Mitch Greenberg, who interns under the supervision of Katherine Heigl's character, Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens. Another new intern — Meredith's TV half sister Lexie Grey — will be played by actress Chyler Leigh. "Fans will remember Lexie as the girl who unknowingly flirted with Dr. McDreamy — and sparked his interest," said the source. Tymberlee Chanel and Gloria Garayua also join the cast as new interns — and get a quick dose of reality. "Shortly after their arrival, a three-car accident sends multiple casualties into Seattle Grace," the insider continued. "And on the very first day on the job, one intern helps deliver a baby." But the winner of the "Strangest-Patient-Ever-Admitted-To-Seattle-Grace" award goes to a bleeding deer hit by a car and handed over to the ER docs for treatment, said the source. http://www.nationalenquirer.com/SNEAK_PREV...celebrity/64220 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WATCH WITH KRISTEN - Spoiler Chat: Betty's Better (and Sadder) than Ever; Veronica Movie on Hold - Sep 10, 2007, http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristin/deta...fc-23af8248a207 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Spoilers” from supposed extra on Grey’s - posted July 25 Hey ****, Trying to get spoilers around here is like trying to pull teeth. The actors are so coy about it and pretend that they don't know even WHILE THEY ARE HOLDING THE FLIPPIN' SCRIPT and just sat through a read through. This is what I've heard from ****** and you know that they're usually right: The theme this season is supposed to be 'redemption'. a) The new interns will be paired with first year residents. This is the brainchild of Callie, who is Chief Resident, and Webber, who is still the hospital Chief. They feel that George failed and Meredith almost failed because there wasn't enough one on one training spent with the interns. So, they randomly draw who gets who. The pairings make for a lot of drama and intensity. And sexual tension between two people who were unlikely to have it. B) Bailey feels like she didn't do enough for George and to win Chief Resident so she tries to overcompensate and it leads to trouble. (we hear that her husband has at least a 3 ep arc. Some people are speculating that her baby is sick and impacts all the doctors to make them realize what's important in life or something.) c) Someone that has a "rich" history with Callie comes to work at the hospital. (there are so many theories about this one. Some people think it's an ex-fiance or boyfriend that her father sent to 'spy'. Some people think it's her father. And some people think that it's her brother and that he has big sparks with Izzie.) d) No one will utter a word about Meredith and Derek, but it was confirmed that they are broken up right now. I repeat, they are officially broken up. They broke up and Meredith went on Cristina's honeymoon with her. Things are "strained" and "broken" between Meredith and Derek. e) Cristina reclaims her eyebrows, moves out of Burke's place, and in with Meredith. f) Izzie is apparently going to be clinging to her "love" for George for at least the first three episodes. Something significant happens to Gizzie, though. (People are betting that Denny's ghost sends her an astral smack and pops her head out of her backside. Some people think she's pregnant with George's baby and it will need marrow from him because Shonda keeps saying that Hannah was not a plot device and it has a purpose in the future.) That's all I've heard. Oh, Alex apparently tries to find Ava to no avail and realizes that his 'playboy' image is making him seem just like McSteamy so he has an epiphany. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's a Taste of Season Four - Saturday, 25 August 2007 We already know things are going to look a little different at Seattle Grace when "Grey's Anatomy" returns to the air Sept. 27. But now, thanks to an update on the show's media site and a story in Us Weekly, I've got a few more details about what the new season holds. If you want some spoilers — more like teasers, really — then you just have to * According to ABC, the newly minted residents will be getting their own interns to mentor. Among the interns: George, repeating his internship after failing the exam (an executive producer told Us that he'd be Meredith's intern), and Lexie Grey, Mere's half-sister. * Cristina takes Meredith on her "honeymoon" after being left at the altar; according to Us, when Cristina returns two weeks later, Burke is mysteriously nowhere to be found. As for Mere and Der, they're at what ABC calls "an emotional impasse." * The crew doesn't adjust well to taking orders from Callie instead of Bailey. Bailey, meanwhile, has to find a whole new place in the hospital hierarchy after being passed over for chief resident. * The Chief returns to his position, but this time he's attempting to keep a better work/life balance for the sake of Adele, with whom he has officially reunited. * Mark tries to rekindle his friendship with Derek; apparently, the guy's lonely after Burke and Addison both leave. It's not much to go on, but it's a start, especially considering how tightly Shonda Rhimes guards her spoilers. What else would you like to see happen in season four? Source: BuzzSugar http://spoilertv-greysanatomy.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumours for Season 4 - Monday, 27 August 2007 Hey people! This is the latest that I've heard: 1) Meredith gets territorial over Derek, which amuses him to no end. By episode three, he's back at her place. And yes, there is sex. Shower sex. 2) Callie finds out about Gizzie in episode three which is aptly called 'Let the Truth Sting'. What she doesn't know is that George has made it very clear to Izzie that he loves his wife (he says it in the premiere. Izzie tells him that she's upset that she told him that she loves him and takes him to task for not saying anything back. George flashes back to the time that Callie said the exact same (almost) at the Prom and then looks at Izzie and says, "I love --- my wife. I love my wife, Izzie. She's Callie O'Malley and she's my wife." and walks away). 3) In episode four, Callie is dealing with Gizzie, dealing with a problem patient, and trying to avoid George. She winds up blowing a gasket at the patient's fiance and Alex overhears it. You are not going to believe this ... but Callie and Alex have sex. They talk a little about Addison being gone and Gizzie and then they just look at each other and throw down. It's HOT. 4) Cristina fights off the advances of a female intern in episode four. She's been throwing herself full tilt into the whole Resident thing and refuses to talk about Burke. The girl who likes her is Hispanic and makes several comments that are sexual. 5) Bailey takes Callie to task for everything she does until Callie has to set Bailey's son's arm and then they bond over the fact that Callie's marriage is as broken as Baby William's arm. Bailey decides to help her out. Random things: -Despite reports to the contrary, Lexie very much wants a good, healthy relationship with Meredith and actually feels bad that Thatcher abandoned her. Lexie flirts with Alex and McSteamy, but it's pretty harmless. She's more concerned with being Meredith's friend. -Webber gets back together with his wife and remains Chief, but he agrees to reduce his hours which means that Derek assumes a sort of "part time" Chief thing. It's weird, but Shonda-land is weird. Unconfirmed claims: -Callie finds out that she is pregnant this season, but doesn't know if it belongs to Alex or George. General Spoilers FROM VARIOUS SPOILER OUTLETS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ask Matt - Monday, January 28, 2008 Question: I didn't like your response regarding the Powers That Be not worrying about the fairly steady drumbeat of negativity over Grey's Anatomy. It hasn't always been this way. Many fans are frustrated with one thing or another right now. Maybe that is par for the course with a successful show like Grey's, but I also think it reflects the overall disappointment with this season. And yes, the Meredith/Derek fan base is very vocal on the Internet, and this means only one thing: Many, many people watch Grey's Anatomy because of this couple. The show used to be so great, and if this whole Der/Mer/Rose plot is the best that the writers can do for the show, I would bring new ones in. This new character is simply boring and has zero chemistry with Patrick Dempsey. So many people who used to be die-hard fans have sadly decided that it is not worth taking the time out of their hectic schedules to waste on this tepid and dull show.— Kate Matt Roush: I'm sorry you didn't like my response. I'll try harder to pander next time. The question was whether I felt the Grey's writers would let disgruntled and vocal fans dictate the direction of the show, and whether I thought they should. In each case, my answer is no. That doesn't mean they're unaware or unconcerned when fans object to certain story developments or characters. For the record, I'm hearing a lot less complaining about this season than about the season before, which really did go miserably off the deep end eventually. But then, I'm not stoking the fires. On balance, I've enjoyed this season. I miss the show on Thursdays and can't wait for it to return. As for Rose, I don't even feel I know the character well enough to hate her with the ferocity that you show. Sounds to me like a certain part of the fan base would hate anyone short of Nicole Kidman's stature coming between these famously star-crossed lovers, who have possibly the worst emotional timing since Scarlett and Rhett. http://www.tvguide.com/Ask-Matt/080125 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ask Ausiello - Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Question: I hear that the strike is over! Is it true?— Danouk Ausiello: Nothing's official, but the buzz is that a tentative agreement has been reached, with an announcement coming as early as tomorrow. But it's hard to tell what's solid intel and what's just spin. To wit: In the past 24 hours, one source close to the negotiations insisted that talk of a resolution was way premature. "There's no deal," maintained my spy. "That's just misinformation put out by the AMPTP to pressure the WGA." But moments before I put this column to bed, I heard from another very plugged-in source that the deal is done. Short story shorter: There's cause for optimism, but not celebration. Yet. Question: If the strike ends in the next week or so, can the current TV season be salvaged? — Donald Ausiello: Depends on the network and the show. A source at one of the Big 4 tells me that should the strike end by mid-February, one best-case scenario being bandied about has established series going back into production and working through June, making more episodes for this season and some for next. Then they'll take a summer break before starting regular production on next season. The reason for this is twofold: They don't want to bail out on this season, but they also don't want to go to the expense of putting shows back into production for just two or three episodes. One industry observer describes this as "a smart plan," while acknowledging that there's another variable in all this: the actors. "The trouble is, a lot of actors schedule hiatus movies, or just elaborate vacations. And if they ask them to work through certain dates, that could trigger some contract issues." Now, continue reading for the worst-case scenario…. Question: I've been in a slump ever since that last Grey's Anatomy episode. Could you make a girl's day a little brighter and give her a little poop? — Kylee Ausiello: I chatted up Sara Ramirez at the SAGs and she hinted that Callie might not be in a rush to jump back into another steady relationship post-George. "I think it's an interesting concept, Callie being alone again. It's a universal issue that women deal with a lot. 'What do I do when I'm alone?' 'Is it OK to be alone and not have a man?' I think it's an interesting thing to explore. But, you know, it's Grey's Anatomy. And we love our hookups and one-night stands. I'm all for her finding love in all the wrong places all over again. Maybe there's more than one? She should play the field a little." To watch my entire interview with Ms. Ramirez — featuring her thoughts on a possible reunion with George — click here. Question: I loved the last original Grey's Anatomy episode — especially the Alex-Izzie moments. Have you heard any scoop about them getting together next season? — Katie Ausiello: I have not, but Justin Chambers had some very interesting things to say about that very subject at the SAG Awards. "I think Alex has a deep longing for her," he told me. "He's just not man enough to admit it. He's got a lot of issues to work out. Hopefully he'll get secure enough with them." (Click here to view the clip.) Question: Alex and Izzie literally make me puke. They have as much chemistry as Bea Arthur and Tom Cruise.— Marie-Eve Ausiello: I happen to think Bea Arthur and Tom Cruise are magical together. http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ask Matt - Friday, January 18, 2008 Question: Loved your response to the recent comment about Grey's Anatomy. I (and I'd guess many) completely agree with your assessment. My concern is with how much the Powers That Be (TPTB) pay attention to the Internet messages boards. I know that some who post in one Mer/Der thread I read constantly speak for the "fans" like they mean all fans, but that's not true. Many people like Derek and do not need medication to watch. I worry that TPTB may pay attention to the obsessive 'shippers and modify storylines based on a small percentage of the fan base. Please tell me this is not the case! Personally, I want to see stories that are planned, not dictated by a small group of obsessed fans.— Betty Matt Roush: If Grey's Anatomy were being controlled by the more vocal critics of its Internet "fan" base, do you think the George and Izzie storyline would have kept going as long as it did? I don't think so. By its very nature, Grey's is going to aggravate fans and critics in how it manipulates its characters in and out of relationships. Some work, some don't, but the show has to keep breaking stories (when it's actually in production) or these very same fans will likely gripe about how boring it's become. That's the downside of being a long-running hit. Question: 1) I was surprised by your encouraging piece on Grey's Anatomy's last episode. Even though I was moved by Bailey and Derek's scene (and good performances by both actors), I was majorly disappointed by Bailey's voiceover. The tone was way overdone and forced, and the script... was so bad I wondered if the writers were already striking. While I'm losing much interest in the "older" characters (save for Cristina — I just wish she'd gotten a real storyline this season, and Alex, who I'd always thought was an interesting guy), I now look to the secondary characters (Dr. Hahn, who's been a wonderful addition to the cast; Callie, who I also wish could have a real storyline; and even Sloan, who I thought had been boring previously) to entertain me. Is it just me, or are the primary players getting a tiny bit stale? 2) Friday Night Lights! When do we get to see Landry and Matt as BFFs again? That's been sorely missing this season. Not to mention all the male bonding that's been going on between the (ex-)Panthers. As much as I love this show and will continue to support it, I do get a bit worried because all the storylines this season seem so much more "scattered" and unorganized, not to mention a bit over-the-top soap opera/teen drama'ish at times (I don't think I need to mention which storylines I'm describing). 3) Can I ask if that's your real youth picture in the "Who Shot Ausiello?" vodcast? What a good sport!— Belly Matt Roush: 1) Regarding Grey's: Familiarity breeds contempt. I can think of few truer clichés. Your surprise that I could find something nice to say about Grey's Anatomy is one of the most discouraging things I've read in weeks. 2) If you remember high school the way I do, it's hardly uncommon for even close friends to drift apart, especially when you get caught up in your own life (rarely as eventful as what happened to Landry this season). The "scattered" nature of the show feels a lot like life to me. The moment someone gripes to me that Smash is being underused, he takes center stage. I imagine (hope) we'll be getting some juicy Saracen stories again soon, even if Landry isn't a part of them. 3) Being a good sport had nothing to do with that photo surfacing in the opening credits of "Who Shot Ausiello?" I was as surprised (and, eventually, amused) as anyone. Mike's producers had to dig pretty deep in the photo archive to come up with that one — which dates back to my first job out of college, at a Florida newspaper, where I eventually had to grow facial hair to be treated like a grownup. (Those were the days.) I haven't yet figured out how to properly "thank" my online buddies for resurrecting that photo. http://www.tvguide.com/ask-matt The Ausiello Report - Jan. 15, 2008 New AR: Spoilers on Bones, Grey's, Nip/Tuck and More! The latest episode of my Ausiello Report vodcast ? featuring big scoop on Bones, Grey's and Nip/Tuck ? is now available for your viewing pleasure via this link. As you'll see, we're playing with....... Grey’s finally give Cristina a storyline.....the next episode which was in the process of being written when the walkout began was going to thrust Cristina into two major storylines. One of them I already told you about, a romance between the Joshua Jackson doctor character and the other one I didn’t. I am hearing that Dr. Yang will be the one to help Meredith get over her split with Derek, a breakup that will stick for awhile, at least until the conclusion of the Derek Rose arc. http://www.tvguide.com/News-Views/Columnists/Ausiello.aspx Latest from Ausiello - 09-Jan-2008 Question: Some very mean and nasty people have been saying that Sandra Oh is leaving Grey's Anatomy, whenever it comes back. Since you are the god of TV scoop, I knew you'd be able to deny this for me.— Brittenay Ausiello: Interesting. Unfortunately, I can't verify that rumor's authenticity. What I can verify is that someone — and a major someone at that — wants to be discharged from Seattle Grace, and STAT. But, as far as I can tell, that someone is not Sandra Oh. Question: You mentioned that Joshua Jackson's three-episode Grey's Anatomy arc was delayed indefinitely because of the writers' strike. However, there's a new Grey's airing this Thursday. Will he be in that episode? — Meagan Ausiello: No, hence the "delayed indefinitely" thing. The good news is that I hear Shonda Rhimes has every intention of shoe-horning Pacey into Seattle Grace (and Cristina's bed) the second the strike is over. Got any Grey's Anatomy scoop not related to those two sad sacks? — Gina Ausiello: That final pre-strike episode of Grey's will part with tradition in a major way: Someone other than Meredith will be doing the narration. And his/her name is… *a*l**. Also, there's a reason for the VO switcheroo — and it's a tragic one. Source: TV Guide Ask Ausiello Question: I'm over the Der-Mer drama. I saw no spark, no chemistry during their first meeting on last week's Grey's Anatomy. €” Nancy Ausiello: Don't hurt me, but I didn't hate them together. It was actually nice to see sexy/flirty Derek back, because, I gotta say, the somber/morose Derek is becoming a real drag. So if Rose is the person he chooses to bide his time with while Meredith unpacks her considerable baggage, that's fine by me. Probably not the answer you were looking for, right? In any event, it'll be a few weeks before we see any serious movement in the Rose/Derek/Meredith triangle. Actually, make that a few months. I'm told the big turning point for these three comes at the end of Episode 11, which was originally scheduled for December but has now been postponed until '08! (Grey's repeats will clog the airwaves throughout December. Isn't this strike just peachy?) Episode 11 also happens to be the final episode before Grey's goes on its strike-imposed hiatus, so that big turning point may end up being a big cliff-hanger. And all I'll say is it involves Mer's chilly reaction to a top-secret project that Derek's been toiling over. Question: I'm over the Der-Mer drama. I, too, heard that rumor, but sources on set assure me plans are moving forward to finish the 11th episode, which is supposed to wrap on Wednesday. That episode is scheduled to air the week before Christmas, and if the strike carries on longer, it will be Grey's fourth season finale. http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristin/deta...7c-a56b0e27332f Ask Ausiello Question: Is Seth Green's Grey's Anatomy gig still happening, or has it been scrapped due to the strike? — Geoffrey Ausiello: His two-episode stint has already been shot and will air. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Joshua Jackson's arc, which has been delayed indefinitely. Bummer, too, since I just found out which Seattle Grace doc he was going to be paired with, and it's pretty much the last person I would've suspected. And trust me, that's a good thing. I probably shouldn't tell you who it is since the script isn't even written yet and, therefore is subject to change…. Oh, what the hell (Major spoiler alert): It's Cristina! That's right, Yang was/is supposed to rebound with Pacey! Question: Is Callie really gone on Grey's Anatomy? Any guesses? Post 'em here! Question: Last Thursday's Grey's Anatomy was the episode of the season so far! Was Brooke Smith (Dr. Hahn) the one-off guest star promoted to series regular you were referring to? — Kelly Ausiello: Yep, she sure was. And if you missed my morning-after Q&A with Ms. Smith, you're in luck: Click on this link and you'll be routed directly to the story. Ain't technology grand? Question: Are they going do be doing anything with McSteamy's storyline on Grey's anytime soon? A new love interest possibly? — Kellie Ausiello: Call me crazy, but I have a hunch that he's the mystery doc Brooke Smith said would be crushing on Dr. Hahn in a future episode. I said call me crazy, not that. Question: In the Oct. 10 AA, you said Lauren Stamile would be Derek's new love interest on Grey's Anatomy, but I haven't seen any other spoilers to support this. — Angela Ausiello: Are you fact-checking my stories? If so, where the hell were you during that whole Damages debacle? In any event, there's no need to vet my Stamile item; she's definitely coming in as a love interest for Patrick Dempsey. In fact, their first date is scheduled for Nov. 15. Question: This George and Izzie thing is getting depressingly gross. When will it end? — Jessiy Ausiello: Certainly not tomorrow night, when the two of them decide to have sex for the first time without being drunk. Unfortunately for them — but fortunately for us — an obstacle stands in their way. Hint: Removing said obstacle requires a sharp object that can be found at your local CVS. Question: Serious question here: What happens if the writers go on strike tomorrow?— jbrann66 Ausiello: I finally get to go on that two-week cruise of the Mediterranean I've always been talking about! Can you tell me when he will be arriving and for how long?— Jill Ausiello: You can find all those details — and much, much more — in the latest episode of the Ausiello Report vodcast! http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ausiello interviews Brook Smith - 10/25/07 http://community.tvguide.com/blog/TVGuide-...eport/700000049 Ausiello on Lost, Law & Order: SVU, Grey’s and More! - Wednesday, October 24, 2007 Question: Just how cool it would be if ex-Buffy producer Marti Noxon wrote those Grey's Anatomy episodes that Seth Green is going to be in? — Umut Ausiello: Almost as cool as her being the very catalyst that brought him to the show in the first place! I spoke to Seth this week and he revealed that Marti — now a producer on Grey's and Private Practice — played a key role in his casting. "It was a really funny coincidence," he said. "I had been looking to do some guest spots on TV and I put together a list of shows I'd like to be on, and Grey's was at the top of it. At the same time, Shonda Rhimes was trying to cast this part and had joked to Marti about getting some people from Buffy on the show, because she was a fan. So, it was literally two people thinking the same thing at the same time." If you're wondering what show was No. 2 on Seth's to-do list, well, wonder no more. "I had earmarked Heroes, too. But they're funny about putting actors on the show that people might recognize. I think Kristen Bell was a big swing for them." I'll say! Question: Enough about Benson and Stabler. Got any scoop on the supporting cast of SVU? — Nikki Ausiello: Sort of. Are they breaking up or not?! — Damian -----Ausiello: I honestly don't know what to believe anymore. After my interview with Shonda Rhimes at the Emmys, I thought for sure she was pulling the plug on this ill-conceived romance. But yesterday I got an unconfirmed tip that Gizzie is still alive and kicking in Episode 8. That's right — 8! That means we've got at least five more weeks of these two! My mole also reports that in the same episode, Mer and Der are still going strong with their whole let's-have-sex-but-not-be-super-serious thing. http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *October 9, 2007...Ausiello’s vodcast - October 9, 2007 Someone from Meredith’s past will be paying her a visit in the near future and considering how their last encounter went *slap, slap* I think we can expect some fireworks. As for spoilers, I can tell you that an upcoming Grey's episode involves a plastic-surgery patient who has sex with a constipated patient and it relieves his constipation and that there has to be better stuff than that coming up, right?! Will they work this out? — Nicole Ausiello: Well, after Shonda and I completed our little off-the-record Private Practice powwow, she did the unthinkable: She gave me some actual, honest-to-goodness, steaming-hot scoop concerning Grey's embattled supercouple. "I want to be clear that Derek loves Meredith," she said as if to put the debate to rest once and for all. "Derek loves Meredith more than anything and I can't imagine Derek going anyplace else other than Meredith." And as if to butter me up even more, Shonda handed me the biggest gift a Grey's fan could ask for: a death certificate with Gizzie's name on it. "A lot of people aren't sold on Izzie and George," she acknowledged. "I think the mistake that everyone makes is that we are telling you Izzie and George are the love story of the century; they're not the love story of the century. Look for Ron Melendez to pop up in the fourth episode of the upcoming fourth season. His character, Will, is the fiancé of a Seattle Grace patient. Since Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes famously frowns on spoilers, we can say no more about his character at this time. The role should hardly be a stretch for Ron, considering: * Both Grey’s Anatomy and General Hospital are shot on the same studio / lot in Hollywood. General Hospital is right next door to Grey’s! * Both shows are hospital dramas that feature hot young surgeons who sleep with their co-workers. First she doesn't clap when Terry O'Quinn wins (ostensibly pouting because T.R. Knight didn't), then she whines because they mispronounce her name and then declares that her work as a kid counts because "she worked her *** off." I just don't see why you like this woman, other than the fact that she'll give you face time (which only serves her purpose to let everyone know how fabulous she thinks she is). Wow. Really? Well, I’ve had the chance to hang out with Katherine and also T.R. Knight on a few occasions (most recently at the HBO Emmy party) and can tell you that in person, I have always found them to be two of the sweetest, most sincere and honest people you could ever dream of meeting in this self-serving town. And this is when the cameras were not rolling, when people’s true colors normally come out. (I could tell you some horror stories!) Katherine and T.R. are also much loved by everyone I've met who works on Grey's. I think perhaps you’ve jumped to an unfair conclusion, Wendy? Just something to consider! (And the rest of you should feel free to sound off in Comments below...Would love to hear what you think.) ----Elana in Santa Monica, California: Give us some good Grey’s Anatomy dish! Yes, ma’am. Here’s what I can tell you about the new season: Izzie’s interns think she’s a bottom-of-the-barrel loser (Denny’s death strikes again)—especially after she brings a deer into the hospital to be saved. (Anybody else remember "The Deer Hunter" episode of Gilmore Girls? Good times. And speaking of Stars Hollow, did you all see my dish about the Gilmore guy coming to Grey's in this week's Vine show?) Callie has a terrible time getting respect from others on the staff who don’t understand why she was made chief resident, especially over Bailey. As I mentioned in last week's Vine show, Meredith and Derek are officially broken up as of the first episode, but if you've seen those elevator promos you know there is hope! ----Gina in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan: Any Grey’s gossip? We’re told producers are looking for a big-name star to start recurring on the show around November. Michelle in Berkley, Michigan: Can George still work at Seattle Grace now that he's failed his residency exam? I'm not sure if any of you remember me, I posted a bit here at the end of last season. Anyway, just wanted to share what I heard from a friend (works for NE). - The new interns - 2 females and a male (plus Lexie). They will be on throughout the season along with Lexie. Not major storylines for these interns but we will see them. - Looks like Alex/Lexie may be the pairing for Lexie. - In episode 3, Callie is about to dump George (she knows the truth by then) but then she learns she is pregnant. She tells George, Gizzie ends. But, is likely not fully over, Izzie isn't over George. Again, I can't confirm anything is 100%, its just what she heard. I figured I'd share since the summer is so slow and not all that many spoilers are out. All the info she gave last year was accurate, so I'm thinking this is potentially accurate as well. An exact episode count is still being worked out, but my spy tells me it's "definitely more than one." Best. News. Ever. Question: Now that you're back from TCA, what is your opinion about the future of George and Izzie on Grey's Anatomy?— Jane Ausiello: Based on those scathing focus groups and Shonda Rhimes' less-than-enthusiastic comments at press tour, it's safe to say that the nightmare is over. In fact, I'm hearing Rhimes may stick a fork in Gizzie in the season premiere when (Spoiler alert) the ex-platonic pals are forced to examine their relationship while tending to an, um, unusual patient: a deer. Please tell me that Gizzie is officially dead.— Kenni Ausiello: Well, they're not officially dead, but it's not looking good for the embattled lovebirds after they got eviscerated in a recent focus group. A source close to ABC tells me that George and Izzie polled 95 percent negative, leading one of the 200 or so participants to conclude that, "Gizzie will be dropped." (I hereby take back all the bad stuff I've ever said about focus groups. I love focus groups. Focus groups are awesome.) Question: Got any scoop on Grey's?— Helen Ausiello: Two new interns will be introduced in the season premiere (three if you include Lexie). And they'll have their hands full when a three-car accident sends multiple casualties pouring into Seattle Grace. Question: I can’t believe you didn’t mention Isaiah’s interview on Larry King Live in the last TV Guide Talk podcast! Could you please address it somewhere?— Dave Ausiello: I'm still undecided about who came off worse, the interviewer or the interviewee. I'm inclined to go with LK. I mean, it's tough to top not knowing who Shonda Rhimes is. Question: This whole Isaiah Washington flap has me wondering: Now that he has blamed every person he has ever spoken to for his recent axing, has he blamed you, too? I am sure he is well aware of your power. — Mercedes Ausiello: No, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little hurt. http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello ----------------------------------------------------------------------- From Kristin: - Mon, Jul 9, 2007 Caroline in Silver Spring, Maryland: Anything on the new season of Grey’s Anatomy? On June 7, all of the principal actors on Grey's (with the exception of Washington) were informed by ABC that their contract options had been picked up. http://community.tvguide.com/blog/TVGuide-...eport/700000049 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Grey's Anatomy Spoilers - Updated on June 8, 2007 Grey's Anatomy is currently on hiatus. Season 4 will start sometime in Fall 2007. General Spoilers: * new 06/08 - Multiple sources are telling me that Isaiah Washington will not be returning to Grey's Anatomy next season. An ABC Studios spokesperson confirms that the actor's contract option has not been picked up, but declined further comment. [...] Washington's rep, Howard Bragman, confirmed the news, adding that his client was informed by Grey's executive producer Shonda Rhimes earlier today that he was not being invited back to the show. [...] Plot-wise, it won't be difficult to explain Washington's absence. In last month's season finale, Burke left Cristina at the altar and moved out of their apartment. Source: The Ausiello Report http://www.spoilerfix.com/grey.php Updated on May 22, 2007 General Spoilers: * new 05/22 - I've now heard from various reliable sources that Isaiah has been taking meetings in New York and Los Angeles in search of a new job that would take place during the coming TV season, so it certainly appears that Isaiah's Grey's days are over. Insiders at ABC tell me "not everyone will be coming back" to Grey's this fall, and although T.R. Knight's fate was also left hanging in the balance after the season finale, I'm hearing that he's gonna be back but like I said, Isaiah looks to be a goner. Source: Kristin on E!Online * 05/16 - T.R. Knight will be back next season. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide * 05/09 - Sources close to Grey’s Anatomy tell me that Chyler Leigh — the Reunion star who plays the bar hussy we saw in last week’s promo — has been offered a multiple-episode arc for next season. Source: Kristin on E!Online [Note: Ausiello says that Chyler Leigh was offered a 13-episode arc.] * 03/27 - [George and Izzie] are 100 percent smitten, from what I hear. And, yes, that is a two-way street. There are also rumblings that Sara Ramirez (Callie) might not be coming back as a series regular next season. Source: Kristin on E!Online * 02/10 - I know that casting agents have been in Toronto recently, looking to cast a girl between the ages of 10 and 12 for an arc next season. Now, as much as a great show like Grey's might plan ahead, this seems to be way ahead, if you ask me. So, my first thought is that this girl is Izzie's bio-daughter. Source: Kristin on E!Online [Note: We have seen Izzie's daughter this season. Does this spoiler mean that she'll be back next season? Or is the 10-to-12-year-old girl not Izzie's daughter?] http://www.spoilerfix.com/grey.php |

Here is the proposed spoilers from FutureGreysWriter..... Well, technically not the writer's room. Technically my little apartment in LA, wondering when my room mate is going to get home. She's a writer's assistant for Grey's Anatomy and things have been completely crazy there, getting ready for the writer's strike that might (read: probably will) happen. They're trying to get as many episodes in as possible and it's just...well, you can imagine. The writer's strike is really going to throw them through a loop as they may not have episodes for sweeps! But they're trying. Really, really trying. Anyway...I've been lurking on this board for ages. I'm a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy and have been trying to get the same job as my room mate for ages, but with the strike coming, it's impossible to actually find a job. But it's still great to have someone close by who watches it on our DVR after she gets home and goes, "Oh, there was another scene there, thank God we cut it" (not to mention dropping her off one day and seeing Patrick Dempsey walk on set!!!!!). But I'm rambling, which I tend to do, and there's a real reason I'm here. Apparently, people are a little worried on the Grey's set about the ratings dipping so low. They work so hard to bring about a great show, and I know there's a lot of fear about how bad the show is getting. Trust me, after season 3, I was ready to throw in the towel. But then when my room mate got hired and we actually get some info...well...I knew I had to stick around! So I just wanted to tell you guys...you have nothing to worry about. This season...especially for Mer/Der...AWESOME. My room mate just finished the final revisions for 3.11 and it's going to be a GREAT episode. So the great dish...well...spoilers here! Mer/Der are going strong. They're working out their issues and Meredith is more like season one Meredith. She's even working on her issues with Lexie. But they're definitely the strongest they've ever been! And probably the sexiest. My room mate says some pretty hefty ideas have been thrown around the writer's room for these two (engagement by end of the season or February sweeps!) George and Izzie break up and George and Callie are trying to make it work. Callie's got fired from chief resident though so they're having some problems, and she really doesn't trust George after his indiscretions with Izzie. There's a great scene in 411 between them that my room mate thinks could get Sara Ramirez nominated! Mark has someone special in his life. That love interest for Derek you're all worried about? Puhleaze. She's all over the McSteamy action. And Mark has no idea how to handle her. Someone's finally taming McSteamy! Of course, the BIGGEST spoiler...the one that really shocked and surprised me? Bailey's new chief resident and her husband isn't handling it well. They're actually in the middle of a pretty hardcore custody battle over Tuck. It's actually entirely heartbreaking. So yeah...please stick with Grey's. It's going to get awesome, and hopefully the writer's strike doesn't happen so we can all enjoy a great season of Grey's Anatomy (and I can find a job somewhere). And I know people have done this before. I'm always really skeptical of this kind of stuff too. So I won't beg you to believe me or anything. Why would you? But I just think with all the negativity in Grey's world...you could use some positive. And my room mate says there is nothing negative about season 4 Grey's Anatomy. |

October 26, 2007 - This is the 2nd script portions posted by mcdreamy1 “i have next weeks epi 4.06 "Kung Fu Fighting" im not gonna write the whole script but i'll just give you the good stuff . so if you dont want to know what happens then STOP reading . Well this epi is more about the men on the show. Meredith and Derek do have sex and she starts to talk about her death and Derek gets a bit excited cause he thinks she is opening up but it wouldn’t be greys if she didn’t shut down.” ****************************** Cristina and Meredith are in her apartment (callie asleep on sofa) Cristina and Meredith are are on their stomachs on her bed with a stack of books in front of her. Cris: What are your symptoms? Mer: Other than not being able to sleep . Cris: Lethargy... depression...feelings of inadequacy? Mer: I’m not inadequate. You are. You suck as a doctor. Cris: When you are 65 have clogged arteries and are begging for a coronary bypass graft, try saying that to my face. This is psych. psych is not my area. I am doing you a favor. Symptoms. Now Mer: Well there's the father thing. the mother thing. the sister thing. and the whole dying and being brought back to life thing. Cris: You have too many things. Mer: Cristina I can’t sleep. I cant sleep without the dreaming. (Cristina looking at her honestly worried.) Cris: And the panic attacks Mer: One, one panic attack Cris: Still... Mer: What’s wrong with me? Meredith lies there. Cristina looks at her. Cris : You'll get through this. Mer: (to herself) The more available he gets, the more I pull away. Cris: What? Mer: Nothing. its just ... a Derek thing. ************************* Trailers- early morning--day Derek’s trailer sits side by side with .... another trailer. trailer two's door opens. and out steps Richard, his PJ's buttoned to his neck, his plush robe tied around his waist, two cups of steaming hot coffee in his hands. He breathes in the fresh morning air, content. Steps onto Derek's porch. just as.... Richard: Perfect timing. Derek emerges from his trailer with plates of breakfast. They settle into chairs... ************************* Meredith V.O. Every surgeon prides himself on being hardcore. On being tough. On being anything but domesticated. Derek: You don’t like my trout? Richard: I didn’t say that. . ... I could do without the trailer door slamming every morning at 3am when you go out to catch it. Derek: Don’t start. I let you live on my land. Don’t start. Derek looks at him, knowing what’s coming. Richard: I’m older than you. I’ve seen life from both sides now-- Derek: Are you gonna start singing? Richard: And what I’m saying is a man who is up fishing at three o'clock every morning is a man in pain over a woman. Derek: Oh good it’s a country and western song. Richard: I’m just pointing out that it’s a thing we have in common, Derek Derek takes that in Richard: What we need is to get our minds off everything. What we need is a gentleman’s evening. Derek: A what? Richard: A good, old fashioned, gentleman’s evening. Tonight. Derek---wondering what that even is...? ******************************** on call room day George is asleep. Izzie enters with coffee. She stares at him. He’s sweet when he sleeps, well snorey and itchy but sweet. Izzie full of pep. Izzie: George, its absurd. George: mrrrrhmhh? Izzie: You shouldn’t have to crash in the oncall room every night George:(still half asleep) Or the limb room, or a gurney in the tunnels, or lately the east lobby waiting room couch... Izzie: Its absurd. I have a perfectly good bed. And I know we agreed to be respectful. But now I want some sex. George: sits up, wide awake George: Right now? Izzie: Tonight. It'll be perfect. It'll be our first time after...well, that other first time, but without all the alcohol. It will be hot, perfect sex. You in? George: Obviously. Obviously in. Izzie: I gotta go check on patients. Impress Erica Hahn. Kick some cardio a$$. shave my legs!! George: You know its okay if you don’t get a chance to shave your -- Izzie: NO its not! that is not okay, George. I have to shave my legs I will be shaving my legs. Hot perfect sex requires shaved legs. ************************* Mark and Derek are talking Mark: And what exactly is a gentleman's evening? Derek: You know,. its an evening. with... gentleman. Mark: And strippers? Derek: I....don’t think so. I don’t think the chief meant strippers. Mark: Sure sounds like strippers Dr. Bailey walks past. Mark: Dr. Bailey -- what is the first thing you think of when I say the words 'gentleman’s evening?' Bailey: Tassels. Shiny sequined tassels and one dollar bills. Mark: See. Strippers. Derek: There will be no strippers. I’m almost positive. Mark: So you don’t know what this thing is either? Derek: No...... but you’re in? Mark: Why not? I like to be surprised ************************* So basically for the whole epi the boys are trying to figure out what a gentleman’s evening is. and trust me its funny. im not gonna give it all up so you guys can look forward to something. ************************* Meredith takes care of a guy named Rick he jumped out of a plane and his parachute didn’t open. He’s alive alert and talking. He fell 12,000 feet with no parachute. He had a camera on his head gear and it caught the whole thing on tape. Izzie, Cristina, Alex and Meredith watch the tape on screen Rick: This is it this is it...this is it. I should have told you, god I wish I had told you-- I’m am so in love with you. I love you. I love you. I love you Sally. I-- (Sally is the skydiving instructor) Rick is fine but needs his appendix out. Bailey: You’re a lucky man. Rick: Holy crap Meredith: We do need to remove your appendix Rick: Holy crap. Holy crap. How is that even possible? Bailey: The body’s an amazing thing Rick: This was my first solo jump... Meredith: Your first jump by yourself-- and your chute didn’t work? wow, that’s ... wow. Sally: If you had died, oh god-- Rick: But I didn’t. I lived it’s the most amazing feeling. I feel like I could do anything right now. Anything in the world. Because I faced death and I survived. this lands on Meredith Meredith: It changes a person Rick: It does. It so does ************************* on call room Meredith and Derek are tangled in the sheets in each other. They are wrapped in each others arms. Its intimate tender. Safe. after a long beat.... Meredith: Remember, when I was dead? and then I came back from the dead? and how before I went into that water, everything was so scary and complicated and hard. and then you pulled me out, and I came back to life, and then for a moment like.. the water had washed everything clean.... you remember that? Derek: I do.... He is sooo hopeful. this is it. She’s finally opening up to him, getting ready to admit to him exactly what he’s been wanting to hear, only... Meredith: Me too. And that’s it. She’s done. She’s opened up as much as she can for now. Off Derek still holding her, but so disappointed. And off Meredith, lost in her thoughts.... --------------------- Meredith and Bailey perform an appendectomy. Bailey: He jumped out of that plane, no one forced him to do it. Dropped 12,000 feet. People chasing death down and then trying to cheat it doesn’t make any kind of sense to me. Meredith: There’s a clarity thing. When you cross over the edge. There’s this moment when everything seems.... so clear. you remember just how short life really is and you’re just fearless. for a beat, Meredith: is lost in herself. bailey clocks it. Bailey: You know what makes me fearless? My husbands feet. Its easy to say "I do" cause moments of conviction are easy. The trick is waking up every morning next to someone who has the ugliest.....if you saw his gnarled toes, you’d know how extreme I am. I take it over the edge every day. Meredith smiles, despite herself. gallery Cristina and Derek are watching Dr Hahn and Izzie perform heart surgery. Cristina: Izzie taped a photo of a bird to an empty bag of saline and put it in his eyeline. Derek: Smart. Cristina: (grudging respect) I wouldn’t have thought of that. a long beat, as they watch the surgery Derek: Are you taking care of her? Cristina: Meredith? Derek: She doesn’t let me take care of her. Its not my job anymore. She... she won’t let me. Cristina: .... I’m taking care of her Derek nods, sad but grateful. ************************* Meredith examining Rick, post op Rick: I know it sounds ridiculous, but I’m a little disappointed I survived a 12,000 foot free fall and this is going to be my only scar. Meredith: Rick..... it goes away. Rick: The scar? Meredith: The feeling. That feeling you have, right now , today-- that feeling like you could do anything. That clarity... it goes away. It goes away and then you'll go right back to being the coward who can’t tell the person you love how you really feel. (off Ricks look) I saw your video. Rick: You saw...? oh ... okay, but you’re not going to let Sally see it , right? You won’t let her know what I said...? Meredith: You have to tell her how you feel. You ave to tell her right now while you still can. Rick looks away, suddenly shy.... Rick: Have you seen her? I am completely out of her league. There’s no way she could possibly feel the same way... Meredith: If she doesn’t feel the same way you move on. But if you never find out how she feels? Then this won’t be your only scar. ************************* Meredith’s room Meredith and Cristina are lying in bed. Meredith: I could try a sleeping pill. Cristina: Don’t do that. You'll get all strung out and turn into a bad after-school special. just-- we'll go to sleep and you'll sleep. You probably just need a warm body in your bed. long beat Meredith: I need him, Cristina. I don’t want to... but I do. That makes me kind of pathetic, doesn’t it? Cristina: Little bit Meredith: So what do I do? Cristina: .... I dont know a sound from outside the door. Meredith: What is that? Did you hear that? Meredith gets up to check the noise out. Meredith opens her door to find Lexie, wrapped in a sheet and Alex, in his underwear, on their way down the stairs for a snack. a moment, as they all react.... stunned. Meredith just closes her door and Lexie looks to Alex, horrified. Lexie: Alex, please tell me you don’t live with Meredith Grey. THE END! ------------------------------------------------------------- |
