Mother called it the greatest and most terrifying moment in her life. Standing at the head of the surgical table knowing the that patients life depends on you and you alone. It’s what we all dream about. Because the first person that gets to fly solo in the O.R. — kinda of a badass. We enter the world alone and we leave it alone. And everything that happens in between, we owe it to ourselves to find a little company. We need help ... we need support. Otherwise we’re in it by ourselves ... strangers ... cut off from each other and we forget... just how connected we all are. So instead we choose love, we choose life and for a moment feel just a little bit less alone. 5.10 – All By Myself ABC PRESS RELEASE ABC Television Network - Monday, November 17, 2008 CRISTINA IS FORCED TO CHOOSE HER REPLACEMENT FOR THE FIRST SOLO SURGERY AWARDED TO A RESIDENT, ON ABC'S "GREY'S ANATOMY" Guest Starring Kevin McKidd ("Rome") as Owen and Melissa George ("Alias," "In Treatment") as Sadie Guest Starring Academy Award (r)-nominated Actress Mary McDonnell ("Passion Fish," "Battlestar Gallactica") "All By Myself" - Cristina is awarded the first solo surgery among the residents, but must give it up and choose her replacement. SCOOP-AGE & OTHER TRICKSTERS The Ausiello Files Question: What the hell is going on with Grey's Anatomy's Denny and Izzie? -- Jackie Ausiello: Don't be so quick to judge. Who among us hasn't gone to first base with a dead ex at least once in our lives? Exactly. Question: Okay, I'm officially worried that Izzie really does have a brain tumor and Shonda Rhimes is paving the way for Katherine Heigl's departure at the end of the season. Reassure me, Mike! -- Alex Ausiello: Hold on, Alex, I've got Shonda Rhimes on the line….She says she heard through the grapevine that I've been flooded with hundreds of e-mails from mostly irate and confused Grey's fans wondering WTF is going on with this bizarre love story between a dead Denny and an alive Izzie….She says she'd like to address Ask Ausiello readers directly via this exclusive statement.... "I think the love triangle with Denny, Izzie, and Alex is among the most interesting we've ever done. Watching the chemistry between Jeffrey and Katherine again has been really touching. I can't wait for our viewers to see where we're taking it. But what it won't involve is Izzie having a brain tumor." Alright, so the brain tumor theory is out the window. What does that leave in the way of logical explanations? Scroll down to the comments section and start brainstorming. You never know, I may run your idea in next week's Ask Ausiello and pass it off as my own! Question: What's next for Callie on Grey's Anatomy now that Hahn's gone? -- Amy Ausiello: The official ABC logline for the Dec. 4 episode includes this little morsel: "Callie can't figure out if Sadie is just friendly or flirtatious." Translation: Sadie's next for Callie. 'Grey's Anatomy' Scoop: How Long is Denny Back For? - Nov 14, 2008 Based on the flood of e-mails I've received in the past 18 hours with subject lines like, "WTF Denny!" and "OMFG Denny!" one or two (zillion) of you were surprised to learn that the late, lamented Denny's return to Grey's Anatomy did not end where it began last week. Let me try and put it in perspective for you: Denny?! Seriously?! When I broke the news last month that Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be popping up in the Nov. 6 episode, I was led to believe that it was just for that episode. Now, of course, it's obvious that not only is the dearly departed sticking around for the foreseeable future, but he's also the surprising Izzie suitor that series creator Shonda Rhimes teased over the summer. "Izzie's got a love story, and it's a big one," she told TV Guide back in August, "one that I've been kicking around in my head for a bit, one that required me to take a huge leap of faith in myself, one that is so secret that I have not told anyone. Not the writers, not anyone." Now that we all know, the big questions: How long will Denny continue to haunt Izzie? And where the heck is this story going? Although I haven't been able to nail down the exact length of Morgan's new lease on life, I'm told he'll be in at least five episodes. As far as where the story is headed, the most logical theory is that Rhimes is giving Izzie a brain tumor, which if inoperable would grant Katherine Heigl's (alleged) wish to go make movies full time. But who says this story has to be logical? As Grey's writer Stacy McKee opined at greyswriters.com, "Maybe this is one connection that gets to defy all... common sense. Maybe it just gets to be. Even if it does seem too good to be true." But is it too good to be true? Um, is it good at all? Or is it so preposterous and so decidedly not Grey's that Izzie's next patient is likely to be the shark that she just jumped? Me, I'm somewhere in the middle right now. But where are you? If the show starts to resemble Supernatural Anatomy (or, if you prefer, Grey's Whisperer), will it still be appointment TV for you? http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2008/11/greys-anatomy-s.html --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ask or Watch with Kristen --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ET ---- E!Online Grey’s Anatomy: ‘In The Midnight Hour’ Preview - November 19th, 2008 http://www.grrltv.com/greys-anatomy-in-the-midnight-hour-preview/ New E!Online Sneak Peek - November 20, 2008 http://spoilertv-greysanatomy.blogspot.com/2008/11/new-eonline-sneak-peek.html Episode 5.09 - In The Midnight Hour - Sneak Peeks - November 19, 2008 http://spoilertv-greysanatomy.blogspot.com/2008/11/episode-509-in-midnight-hour-sneak.html Meet 'Grey's Anatomy''s Hot New ER Doc! - November 19, 2008 "Grey's Anatomy" has introduced a hot new doc in the ER -- and ET has the 411! Kevin McKidd is no stranger to television. He starred in HBO's toga drama, "Rome," and played a time traveler in NBC's short-lived "Journeyman." But this season he is scrubbing in to "Grey's Anatomy" as a former military doctor who has been hired to head Seattle Grace's ER. ET: You had worked with Patrick Dempsey in 'Made of Honor.' Did he have anything to do with you getting the role? Kevin McKidd: On the first day, I started on "Grey'"'s because I assumed Patrick had said, "Yeah, use Kev," but he had no idea I was on the show until I turned up in scrubs. That was funny! ET: What is going to be your Mc Nickname? Kevin McKidd: There are several kicking around. ET: How about McHottie? Kevin McKidd: That is one I have heard. But there are several kicking around. ET: Is there going to be a romance with Cristina (Sandra Oh)? Kevin McKidd: I think you can bet on that. Even though he is struggling with [the idea of] becoming close to someone, there is an undeniable connection between those two. There is chemistry between them and a definite attraction that will play out this season. Hopefully, it will be fun to watch because it is so intense. ET: Nobody seems to stay faithful on this show, so who else would Owen like to hook up with? Kevin McKidd: (Laughs) He only has eyes for Cristina at the moment. ET: What can you tell us about this week's episode [airing Thursday at 9 p.m. on ABC]. Kevin McKidd: The story in this episode is really interesting because it is about a guy who has very vivid nightmares and his daughter is not sleeping either. She is suffering from severe exhaustion because he constantly gets up. Eventually he throws himself out of his bedroom window because he thinks he is being chased by demons. It is a very touching story this week. ET: Did you have any second thoughts in the episode where you had to stab the pigs? Kevin McKidd: That is a very controversial technique that is being used at the moment. It was brave of ABC to attack that issue. I was, "Wow, if people react badly to this, I could be looking for a new job next week." The story was written so well and both points of view were put across intelligently, so I think most people who watched it understood what they were trying to do, which was talk about this. It is a moral issue about animals being use in trauma surgery training. ET: Is it easier to wear scrubs than a toga? Kevin McKidd: It definitely is. When you wear a toga, you sit and cross your legs and everybody can see your underpants and it is really embarrassing because men aren't used to wearing skirts. I am much more comfortable in scrubs. It is like walking around in your pajamas all day. This is the most comfortable I have been on a set. http://www.etonline.com/news/2008/11/67932/ --------------------------- Sandra Oh Talks Grey’s-Private Practice Crossovers - December 3, 2008 Doctors from Seattle Grace and Oceanside Wellness Center may soon be racking up the frequent flyer miles. A multi-episode crossover between Grey’s Anatomy and its spin-off Private Practice is planned for February, and Grey’s star Sandra Oh is talking about who’s coming and who’s going. “Crossover crazy!” Oh said of executive producer Shonda Rhimes’s plans to cross-pollinate the casts of her two medical melodramas. Kate Walsh’s Dr. Addison Montgomery — who split from Seattle Grace to launch the spin-off and made one return trip last spring — is expected back in her old OR, and Oh revealed that Patrick Dempsey’s Derek Shepherd (a.k.a. McDreamy) will likely be trekking to his ex-wife’s romantically complicated Oceanside Wellness Center. “It has to do with Addison,” Oh said. “I think the Chief is [going to visit], too,” she added, suggesting some unfinished business between Seattle Grace’s head of staff (James Pickens, Jr.) and Addison. Oh has a suggestion for the writers in case they want to send her character to Ocean Wellness Center to hook up with a handsome doctor. “Paul [Adelstein]’s character,” she says. “Cristina Yang would have scenes with Cooper. They’d just wrestle the whole time!” But back at Seattle Grace, Cristina already has a budding relationship with ex-military doc Owen Hunt, played by Kevin McKidd. The pair shared a steamy kiss early on, but Oh likes that they haven’t become an instant McCouple. “It’s a nice, slow romance,” she says. “A lot of time people on Grey’s get together quickly, but that’s not the case here. It’s nice to be able to see a relationship develop and grow.” Oh also shrugs off critics of Grey’s occasionally polarizing plot lines, like the current romance between Izzy (Katherine Heigl) and the deceased Denny (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). “I’m very happy with my story lines and I work hard on them, and the other things you just can’t control,” she says. “If someone is going to hate my character or Cristina’s romance with Owen, that’s up to them. I know that myself and Kevin McKidd work really, really hard and putting in some rich work, and so that’s all I concentrate on. http://tvwatch.people.com/2008/12/03/sandra-oh-talks-greys-private-practice-crossovers/ --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- Edited by oncetherewasaway, Jan 9 2009, 08:17 PM.

EP RECAP 12/04/2008 - "All By Myself" Season 5, Episode 510 The attendings choose Cristina for the solo surgery, but the Chief has put her on probation and orders her to select another resident to take her place. The residents all plead their cases to her: George insists he's grown the most, Meredith believes she's the most qualified but tells Cristina to "do what she has to do," while Alex calmly recites the surgical procedure to her. Izzie, meanwhile, is not even trying to win the surgery, she's far too occupied with Denny, who is now with her at the hospital. Izzie hasn't been at the clinic all week and makes excuses why she can't work when she does show up. George notices her talking to herself and tries to tell Alex he thinks there's something wrong with her. Alex just snaps at him, "Never talk to me about Izzie again." Mark advises Callie not to flirt with "hot, crazy intern," Sadie, and to channel all her frustrated sexual energy into surgeries. Mark himself is trying to avoid Lexie: Ever since Derek ordered him to stay away from her, he can't stop thinking about her, but she's helping him wiht a patient whose voice box he is rebuilding. Watching the residents scuffle for the solo surgery reminds Miranda when she was "young, gifted black, and everyone knew it." Hearing about Mark's cutting-edge surgery, she asks to scrub in, but asks him so many questions he wants to know if she'd rather just do the surgery herself. Besides punishing Cristina by not allowing her to operate, Richard also makes her baby sit Dr. Virginia Dixon. "At the end of the day, I want that woman to be my next head of cardio. If she's not, I know who to blame." Virginia tells Cristina she should award the solo surgery based on science, not on feelings. At the end of the day, Virginia decides to stay on. Cristina finally chooses Alex for the solo surgery. Alex eagerly tells Izzie and wants her to scrub in with him. In his excitement, he blurts out that he loves her and he knows she's been scarce because of the patient who reminded her of Denny. "I'm not going to die, Izzie," he tells her, assuming that her being so distant is fear of commitment. He panics when she doesn't show for the surgery. He asks Meredith to scrub in instead and calls himself an idiot for telling Izzie he loved her. "You have to kick ass in there, Alex. You have no choice," she tells him, just as Izzie shows up and tells the Chief, "He's ready." Cristina tells a hurt Meredith that choosing Alex over her wasn't a personal decision. "Unlike you, I can separate my personal life from my job." She angrily tells the other residents watching Alex operate, "None of you said anything. They were all our interns. I won this. They picked me. If I don't deserve this solo surgery, then none of us do." Cristina is on the verge of tears after leaving the O.R,. so Owen tells her to follow him. He shows her his favorite place in the hospital: a ventilation shaft that he likes to stand on to clear his head. "Anything can happen on a vent," he says. "Like what?" she asks and they kiss. Sadie tells Lexie to stop feeling guilty about the intern surgery ring --- and that Mark likes her. "You haven't noticed his eyes on your ass?" she asks. Lexie tells her she's "delusional," but that night, she goes to Mark's apartment to tell him his vocal reconstruction voice was a success. She starts stripping, saying, "Teach me." Mark tries to get her to leave, but when she asks, "Am I really so bad," he answers, "No, I am," and kisses her. Edited by oncetherewasaway, Jan 13 2009, 04:38 PM.

COMPANY BLOGS Grey Matter Pete Nowalk on "All By Myself"... Original Airdate: 12-4-08 So you watch this TV show for a few seasons. You really enjoy it. Admire it. Learn from it. You even read the writers’ blog every once in awhile – just to see what these writer people are actually like. Wondering what it’s like to be them. Dreaming about being them… And then it happens. You’re now sitting in a room with these people. These talented, hard-working, funny writers who you quickly realize you have no business being around. This happened to me. And I freaked out. Big time. Going to work everyday was an exercise in panic. Nausea, nightmares, shaky voice…symptoms of what’s commonly referred to as an all out, no-doubt-about-it, yikes-is-he-sweating, better-start-looking-for-a-new-career, you-don’t-need-to-be-a-doctor-to-diagnose-it FREAK OUT. Which is all to say I get Alex in this episode. (Okay, okay, so I know writing an episode of television isn’t really comparable to what it must feel like to operate on someone all by yourself, but that’s why I’m happy to be a writer and not, say, a second year surgical resident. I freak out easily.) It’s kind of a big deal, performing your first solo surgery. One of two things could happen – your patient lives or your patient dies. And since this surgery is a very simple, very easy below-the-knee amputation, a dead patient means you killed them. No wonder Alex freaked out. Alex is one of those characters who’s still a little mysterious. He likes sex, yeah. He has a sick sense of humor, sure. He’s a pretty rotten communicator, no duh. But now we know he loves Izzie. Loooooves her. Which he finally told her off the thrill of winning the solo surgery. Alex needed this win. This is the dude that failed his boards and froze during the heart surgery in the elevator. Winning the solo – and having Cristina of all people pick him – finally allowed Alex to believe in himself. And with that came believing in himself with Izzie. Who makes him better. Who gives him the warm and cozies inside. Who is still. Seeing. Denny. Okay, I know what you’re thinking. Or I don’t. But what I do know is that it’s confusing. Alex loves Izzie. He’s been good to her. SO WTF IS THAT GIRL THINKING? She’s not thinking. That’s the point. Because when we think we tend to screw things up. We over-think. Or under-think. Or just think about thinking. And it’s exhausting. To the point where it’s easier to just shut your mind off sometimes, to just go with the flow. So that’s what Izzie is doing. She’s throwing caution to the wind. She’s letting it ride. She’s saying F&$# IT! And I don’t blame her. Who knows how long Denny will be here, or when Alex will confront her about the bizarro behavior, or what – if anything – there is to learn from Denny while he’s here. So like Izzie, I’m choosing to say F%$# it. Go on, try it. Shout it. Scream it to the rafters. F&%$^&^*^**&*#### IT!!!!!!!!! Feels good, right? Now for the people still reading (Don’t give up on me yet. I know I’m new. I’ll try to curse less…) I have one word for you. Hi. A simple word, yup, but loaded with meaning when you haven’t said it for 5 years. Sometimes when we research these medical stories I can’t believe what we find out about the world. How many scary medical conditions there are. How wrong things can go. It makes you wonder how the hell any of us are still walking around living. Which is why it’s a kind of miracle that, sometimes, there’s a surgery to make life better. Mark Sloan gave this woman back her voice. Pretty damn cool. Also cool is Lexie working so hard to get this very stubborn, very scared woman to speak. Lexie was doing it for the husband, yes, but also for Mark. She knew how much this surgery meant to him. He’s not all boob jobs all the time after all (yes, that’s directed at you Dr. Bailey). So you can imagine how psyched Lexie must have been to tell Mark that the surgery worked. And, oh yeah, ask him to teach her. Teach her what?? Um… I don’t know about you but that moment right before Mark gave in – when he was trying with all his might to not do the thing he knew he shouldn’t do but oh-so-wanted to do – was a pretty great window into the kinder, gentler McSteamy. Mark was trying to be good, for Derek and for himself, but he’s also human. And he’s Mark. And Lexie was there. All vulnerable. All beautiful. All HALF NAKED. Hell, even I wouldn’t be able to deny her in that moment (and I bat for the other team). As long as Meredith and Derek don’t find out about these two. I guess Meredith’s got her hands full worrying about Cristina anyway though. She hoped their fight from the last episode would blow over. Two weeks of civil-yet-heated interactions and all would be fine. Not quite. Not even when she tried to apologize in the gallery. Because Meredith said the one thing that set Cristina off. She said, “I know why you made it personal.” And that’s all it took for Cristina to blow. Cristina who had been working SO HARD all day to keep it together – to hear out each of her fellow residents as they described why they deserved the solo even though she herself had truly won it. All the Attendings picked her. Every single one. Even Derek (who smartly told Mer it was because he didn’t want it to look like he was playing favorites. And Mer was fine with it. Let’s hear it for relationship maturity!). So Cristina blew. She had to. No one can keep their feelings bottled up forever. Thank god Owen was there to show her his secret place… Ew, not that secret place. THE VENT PEOPLE. The cold, dank, dirty-in-a-good-way vent. My one regret from my time on the set is that I didn’t get to take a test-spin on that puppy. Cause the vent is real, folks. You can’t CGI hair-blowing like that. And it apparently makes you want to kiss people. Owen has so many tricks up his sleeve. It’s kinda hot. And Cristina needed that vent. Especially after the day which included working with Dr. Dixon. Dr. Dixon who sees the world in her own very unique way. Sure, it might have seemed insensitive how she kept pressing this family to donate their daughter’s organs. But it also didn’t make sense to her. Embrace the science, leave feelings out of it – that’s what she told Cristina. Donating the organs would save lives. So why let feelings get in the way? Cristina understood this, and it’s exactly what allowed her to pick Alex for the solo. Let’s move on to something a little less girl-in-a-coma depressing and more girl-in-a-sexual-awakening fun. Callie’s like a teenager right now. Confused, awkward, horny. And she’s trying to figure out her new, liking-girls life. Cause girls are different than boys. They flirt in a different way. In a way that might not even be flirting. Like Sadie. Who is quite a flirty gal. But is she flirty with everyone? Is that just her nature? Or is she actually flirting with Callie? Or does she just need a new friend because everyone in the hospital thinks she’s flat out CRAZY? Sadie’s got some stuff going on in that flirty little head of hers. Now if only Callie could figure it out. Or figure herself out. Maybe she should take a page from Izzie and say, “F&#@ IT!” After all it worked for Alex. It’s what allowed him to make his first cut on the leg amputation dude. And since we know he’s going to rock the hell out of the rest of that surgery, it doesn’t seem like the worst idea out there. So try it. Do something that totally freaks you out today. I will too. First up, posting this blog... December 04, 2008 http://www.greyswriters.com/2008/12/pete-nowalk-on.html ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The Emerald City Bar Flyin' Solo It feels like just yesterday, when the storm of the century hit Seattle Grace and made Alex Karev freeze up in an elevator. Remember that, everybody? The hospital had lost its power. Alex and George were stuck in an elevator with a dying heart patient. Dr. Burke was yelling some crazy MacGyver heart surgery instructions down the elevator shaft. Alex picked up a scalpel and HE CHOKED… Ah, memories. Cut to TODAY when Alex Karev won the first resident solo surgery and totally ROCKED IT. That’s right, folks: I said Alex Karev. He flew solo and a true surgeon was born. And a tear falls... I hear that Yang was the Chief’s first pick, but – since she was disqualified after her interns decided to OPERATE ON THEMSELVES – the Chief made Cristina choose the winner herself. Which is actually really, really funny (to me) but probably really, really horrible to Cristina. Seriously. It must’ve driven Yang mad all day. You’d think she would’ve picked Meredith. But, rumor has it that the two have been fighting. A lot. Something about Meredith not having Cristina’s back when the Chief heard about that whole crazy-intern-taking-out-her-own-appendix thing. Hey, friends fight. There’s no getting around it. You fight. You make up. You fight again. You make up again. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. But, when it starts getting personal, well – that’s when things can get ugly. You know, I hope Meredith and Cristina’s little squabble doesn’t get too personal. Although, it kind of seems like it already has… Cristina picking bonafide evil spawn ALEX KAREV over supposed best friend MEREDITH GREY? Yeah. There’s definitely some trouble in paradise… The formerly inseparable bff’s didn’t even sit next to one another at Alex’s impromptu celebration at the bar tonight. One didn’t even look in the other’s direction. Cristina in one corner. Mer in the other. And, as a result, the night DID NOT feel right. Come on ladies, will you just kiss and make up? I tried to coax George into playing mediator (I like to stir the pot sometimes, I can’t help it), but all George wanted to talk about was Izzie. He thinks something’s seriously wrong with the girl. I, however, didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. She was there, right beside Alex the whole night, all smiles, reveling in her boyfriend’s success. Okay, so maybe she went to the bathroom quite a bit. But she was drinking quite a bit, too. Who knows?! I hope George is wrong and everything with Iz is alright. I thought for sure Lexie would’ve stopped by to congratulate Alex, but she didn’t. And I really wanted to get some more details from her about whack job intern Sadie. Like, did she really ask for a mirror so she could see her funny friends poke around her insides looking for her appendix? And – more importantly – is she really a lesbian? Because, let me tell you, she was all up in Callie’s grill tonight. The furtive glances, the longing stares, the flirty smiles? ALL NIGHT LONG? They were making ME uncomfortable. Not really. I kinda dug it. But, just… get a room, ladies. Anyhoo – Meredith didn’t stay very long tonight. She said she had to get home to Derek. He “had a rough day.” It was cute. Mer is really, actually, truly, totally making a go at this whole committed relationship thing. I’m proud of her. I’ve seen her come a long way from her days of taking home random strangers from the bar. And, that, my friends, is a very good thing. As Meredith was walking out, I couldn’t help but notice Cristina glancing in her direction, watching her best friend go. I so wanted Yang to get up and follow Mer out the door, as usual. But, she didn’t. Okay, it’s official… Things are definitely personal… Until next time… - Joe the Bartender December 04, 2008 http://www.emeraldcitybar.com/2008/12/flyin-solo.html ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The Nurse’s Station ... RECAPS & REVIEW S & RATINGS BUDDYTV ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CHICAGO TRIBUNE ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CINEMA BLEND ----------------------------------------------------------------------- EW.COM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- FANGASM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- LA TIMES ----------------------------------------------------------------------- MSNBC Grey's Anatomy’ docs face big decisions - Dec 4, 2008 Cristina gives away the solo surgery; Izzie can't shake the dead Extended solo: Cristina won the first solo surgery. Unfortunately for her, she was disqualified as a result of the Frankenintern fiasco. So, instead of getting to do the surgery, she just got to decide which of her friends would do the surgery. They immediately started lobbying hard. Everyone bet on Cristina picking best friend Meredith, but Cristina picked Alex based on merit. (Meredith is lucky merit is almost never the reason anything happens.) Cristina was later consoled by McArmy, who took her to a secret part of the hospital where a vent literally blew smoke up her scrubs. That made her happy, and then they got back to smooching, which made her even happier.............cont’d http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28020600 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW YORK MAGAZINE ----------------------------------------------------------------------- TV GUIDE ----------------------------------------------------------------------- TV SQUAD Grey's Anatomy: All By Myself – Dec 4th 2008 (S05E10) Before I even start this review, I've got to vent about the absurd amount of commercials during this episode of Grey's Anatomy. Is it always this bad and I just haven't noticed? Are there always ads every two minutes or so? I found it extremely distracting to be constantly interrupted, especially when there were so many storylines going on tonight. And we did have a lot to keep track of: Dr. Dixon's appearance, the Izzie / Denny / Alex love triangle, who would be awarded the first solo surgery, Callie's and Sadie's flirting, the medical cases of the week, Yang and Hunt, Sloan and Little Grey, Bailey and Sloan ... I can barely keep track of them all. Let's break down this episode after the break and try to make some sense of "All By Myself." Cristina felt alone because she had to choose which resident would get to do the first solo surgery, but also because none of the other residents backed her up when the interns were caught doing surgery on each other. She's fighting with Meredith because Cristina can separate her personal and professional lives, and Meredith can't. Hunt saves the day with the kinky vent. Don't really know what to say about that, but I do love Hunt so I'll let it slide.........cont’d http://www.tvsquad.com/2008/12/04/greys-anatomy-all-by-myself/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ZAP2IT ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited by oncetherewasaway, Jan 17 2009, 08:59 AM.
