Welcome to the game! PLOT: Joe’s bar. It’s the place where doctors come to have a beer. To throw a nice game of darts. To meet the person of their McDreams… but lately Joe’s has become an island of misfits. That’s right. Joe’s Bar has been over-run by Mercy West spies! These (probably intern!) doctors from Mercy West have come to Joe’s bar with the intention of causing trouble and reeking havoc for our SGH doctors. It's your job to weed out these Mercy West brats and kick them out of Joe's bar (kill them) before they over run the place!!! During this game you’ll be assigned to one of two groups. [size=7]Seattle Grace Doctors Mercy West Spies [/size] The game is played as follows: During the ‘day’ period, all players will ‘meet at Joe’s’ and have general discussion and observe the other players. You do this simply by posting in this thread. You may use "QUOTE" - "ADD REPLY" - or "QUICK REPLY" to do this. By the end of the ‘day’ (this time will be set with an online timer), all players will need to submit a vote for whom they think is a Mercy West spy. To vote, simply make a post that looks like this: Vote: ObscureAllure The vote MUST BE in bold to be counted. There are no unvotes, so choose wisely. At the end of the shift, ObscureAllure will count all the votes and the person with the most votes will killed/leave Joe’s Bar. At that time, this person’s real identity will be revealed. During the ‘night’ period, everyone will send a PM to ObscureAllure. Mercy West spies will send the name of the person they wish to kick out of the bar that night. The characters with special abilities will send in their needed PMs (the character to save/protect/kidnap/etc). Everyone else will send in a PM with a joke. (This is to ensure that no one watching who’s online can draw any conclusions and so we can be sure you are still playing.) At the end of the ‘night,’ a post will tell who’s been killed/kicked out of Joe’s bar and the day will start again. You will not learn the character identity of the person who left during the night. This process will repeat until the Mercy West spies outnumber the Seattle Grace doctors, at which point the SGH doctors will loose OR the SGH doctors completely remove all spies and win. [size=4]RULES: 0. This is a game. Have fun. Don’t let things get personal. 1. Votes must be bolded all votes that are not in bold, won't count. (i.e VOTE = ObscureAllure ) To do bold, click the little B button above the posting area. Then type your text. Then click on the B again to close/stop the Bold. 2.Lynching simply requires the majority of voters, in the event of a tie, Richard Webber's vote will be the tie breaker. 3.The game is NOT to be discussed anywhere else on the forums or chat, if it is, the player who discussed it will be modkilled and replaced. This also includes ABC Message Board and any other forum. Yes, it's hard not to - but if we allow this it may lead to cheating and we don't want that! 4.There is absolutely NO EDITING of your post. So be careful what you say and how you say it. If you edit your post, there will be an 'edited by' line and you may be removed from the game. 5. If you quote a PM from the host of the game, you will be instantly modkilled, and replaced. 6. Unvote is NOT allowed. You'll have to think carefully before voting. 7. BTSC (Behind the Scenes Contact) is only allowed if your role gives you the ability. 8. Whilst you should have fun, try to take the game seriously. 9. Anyone who does not vote in two consecutive days will be automatically modkilled, unless they have a good excuse which they PM to the host (ObscureAllure). 10. The roles are as follows: Seattle Grace Doctors: These characters are the ‘good guys’ in our game. Unless other wise stated in your role, you can NOT PM anyone else in game or discuss the game anywhere other than in the game thread. If you do you will be removed from the game and replaced immediately. It is your job to find the Mercy West spies and vote them out of Joe’s Bar! Dr. Meredith Grey: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. You have BTSC with (you may PM) Derek Shepherd. If Derek Shepherd dies - you will die, too. Dr. Cristina Yang: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. You are a lie detector. Every night you can choose one post to investigate. You must copy and paste the link to the post you would like to investigate and PM it to the Mod. If there is any provable false statement anywhere in this post, it will come back as false. Dr. Isobel 'Izzie' Stevens: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. At any point in the game you can lock a player in the bathroom. This player cannot be night killed that evening or lynched the next day. Dr. Alex Karev: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. You can choose one person whose ability you would like to block every night. That person will not be able to use their ability (good or bad) that evening. Dr. George O'Malley: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. Every night you can investigate one person. At dawn you will be told if that person is guilty or innocent. Dr. Derek Shepherd: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. You have BTSC with (you may PM) Meredith Grey. If Meredith Grey dies - you will die, too. Dr. Mark Sloan: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. Every night period you may choose one person to take home with you. This person cannot be night killed that evening. Dr. Richard Webber: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. In the event of a tie, your vote will be the deciding vote. You can choose to ‘go into surgery’ any two times during the game. During those two times you cannot be night killed. Dr. Miranda Bailey: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. Dr. Callie Torres: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. Dr. Erica Haun: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. Dr. Owen Hunt: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. Dr. Sydney Heron: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. Dr. Lexie Grey: You are pro-SGH. Your main objective is to find the Mercy West spies and lynch them. Nurse Rose: You are pro-SGH. However, you have no main objective. Why? Because you are a bit psycho. Each night you pick a person. That person will either be investigated, protected, role blocked, or killed at random. If you submit Meredith or Derek – you will be killed. ---- Mercy West Spies: These characters are the ‘bad guys’ in our game. It is your job to get the SGH docs kicked out of Joe’s bar (killed) and protect your own players with out getting caught. You will know all of the players on your team, and you have BTSC with your other team members. Dr. Ben Dover: You are pro-MWS. Your main objective is to find the SGH docs and kill them. You are the head of the Mercy West spies. You will appear innocent if George O’Malley investigates you. You have BTSC with your other team members. You must discuss with your team who you wish to night kill. You will choose who in your team will submit the night kill vote. Dr. Amanda Lay: You are pro-MWS. Your main objective is to find the SGH docs and kill them. You have BTSC with your other team members. You must discuss with your team who you wish to night kill. At any point in the game you can lock a player in the bathroom. This player cannot be night killed that evening or lynched the next day. Dr. Mai Buht: You are pro-MWS. Your main objective is to find the SGH docs and kill them. You have BTSC with your other team members. You must discuss with your team who you wish to night kill. Dr. Ken Breakhearts: You are pro-MWS. Your main objective is to find the SGH docs and kill them. You have BTSC with your other team members. ObscureAllure is sprawled out on the ground. Someone spiked her drink. She is dead!!! That's right - someone right here in this very bar killed her! "LOCK THE DOORS!" Joe demanded. "Call the police!" Meredith shouted. "Is she an organ donor?" Cristina cried out. Everyone turned and looked at Cristina all at once. "What? It's a viable question!" Alex snatched a pen off of the bar, "Hey, this is a Mercy West pen! I bet you it was someone from Mercy West!" Izzie looked around the room, "There must 100 people in here, how are we supposed to know who's from Mercy West?" George shrugs his shoulders, "I knew I should have stayed home tonight." [size=3]Just a quick note: You will hear people say 'townie' - this is a term from the actual game this game is based on. Townie means good guy. You may also hear the term "mafia' - that is the bad guys. Just wanted to point that out. Also - glad to see that you guys are all ready posting. I expect this first day to be slow. Who ever does get lycnhed/night killed today will have the option of becoming a replacement. If anyone can no longer play they will have the option to take their place/role. Hey OA... was notcing the day timer link on the bottom of the page- is that the correct play clock??? So, first day is always hard.... I guess we will have to wait to see who shows up and who doesnt to do our first lynch! (or whatever we are calling it!! LOL) |

sually there is ALOT of posting and someone always screws up in the first day so its easy to decide who to lynch....thats whta makes first days a lot easier but i dont know if that will happen here... near the end of the day, we'll see what people say. might have a better idea. remember, there is a lie detector role so everyone needs to say that they are 100% townie. :) |

[size=3]The play clock at the bottom of the page is correct. The day will end at 10PM Central US time. Since the first day is always slow and most people don't get the hang of it until after the first day we are going to keep it kind of short. :)[/size] |
