In honor of the World Cup coming up next month, I would like to put on a tournament in similar style to the World Cup. We're going to go 4 brackets of 4 players each, if we can get 16 (hopefully). Top 2 in each bracket will advance to Top 8. If not, I'll modify it somewhat to make it work. Format: GA Legend. NO MEV. Round: Round Robin in each division. Top 2 in each division advance to top 8. Top 8 will be single elimination. Matches can be single or best of 3, whatever you agree on with each of your opponents. Sign-Up list: 1. Unclechawie 2. Guglio 3. CapAp 4. Iranoctis 5. CptPugwash 6. I'll play anything that involves some form of original deckbuilding. i.e. sealed or some random crossover or legend (with say top 10 legends banned, no wolverine, hulk, spiderman, doom etc). |

I'd also prefer random originality; the old formats are more-or-less defined out at this point. I'm pretty much done with "no new sets" Modern / Silver / Golden. With that said, I'd still be in if these "won out". Edited by EvilDave, May 23 2010, 03:07 PM.

What about DC golden, you lose alot without marvel but you also remove those last few suck butt I still enjoy sets, I don't think we've seen a meta like it since "mOdern" went bi a way back...just loooking at what aint been done. |

Just a thought here- it might be a good idea to do group stages based on timed zone. |
