Hey gang, I'm very excited to announce that the teams have been chosen and it's time to discuss the first Community Committee set!! Here is your Committee: Design Team BanstyleJBO KardKrazy OnyxWeapon ConkyChameleon Lastchance Rules Team bungo_underhill Kritus Mestrahd KardKrazy Playtest Team Vader Orange Soda Man Mestrahd KardKrazy OnyxWeapon Kingfish Web Team/Promotions Hatman Carlosthedwarf Everyone who volunteered got a slot of their choosing. Some even got two slots! The design seats were the hot ones (as we expected they would be), and if you weren't chosen for that position this time around, fear not! You will definitely be considered next time. We wanted to keep the team at a manageable number, but we also want to work with as many different designers as possible. So we'll absolutely be looking for some fresh faces next time around. (Volunteers - team leads will be in contact with you soon.) Now - whether you volunteered or not, you've probably noticed that we've got three "Marvel"ous set theme choices for you in the poll above. The majority of known Marvel teams are represented within these choices (those that are absent were likely already featured in recent fan sets). So choose one and vote! What is the committee going to be slaving away on? (This poll will be open for two weeks, and we're going to invite the "Bring Back Vs. System" fans to vote here too - so this could get interesting! Yep! But I liked Annihilation, Annihilation Conquest and War of Kings. Futhermore Guardians of the Galaxy are so fun to read.... Groooot ;) |

Not gonna lie, I'm tempted not to vote for Galaxy simply because I want to work with the cosmic characters myself! But that being said, that would definitely be the set I'd be most excited to play with. |

I voted for Marvel Invasion but galaxy does have teams that can be fleshed out too. My biggest concern is that I don't know the teams for galaxy, but I'm sure I'm in the minority. |

Hopefully there is some Nova Corps dual affiliation love in the Galaxy set; I'd actually consider the Nova Corps as a team over the United Front, since most of those characters could fall under the other team affiliations. |

I voted for Invasion simply because I thought of a few ideas for Skrulls and they're one of the teams listed. I'd be happy with the Galaxy set too. |

The first comic I ever bought was Guardians of the Galaxy #1. The cover seemed so cool, and the art hooked me, then the story lines reeled me in. After about a year and a half I even went to my local comic shop to buy the old issues that the Guardians appeared in. In the end I had every comic that they ever occurred in. Wooooow! The Cosmic guys have SUCH a lead, but it has been forever since they were the focus of a set. Personally, I LOVED the Nova Corps storyline that ran in Nova and would be SO happy to see them included in the Unitrd Front as a version. |

I wanted to see the New Mutants, Hellfire Club, and Dark X-Men; but I couldn't stomach more X-Men and Brotherhood cards so I voted Galaxy. Plus I love Cosmic! |
